Nice hostel with a lovely shared roof terrace

Friendly staff, good location close to everything you'd need. The terrace is nice.

While the terrace is great it can be a bit nosy and the double room was beside it, supposed to close at midnight but not something that's enforced. Stayed for 4 nights and room wasn't cleaned.

I really liked my stay in the Passion Hostel in Barranco. Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly, location of the hostel is perfect, the rooms are spacious, I would gladly stay there again. Big thanks to the staff!

Friendly and helpful staff

The hostel felt very dirty and run down. The bed mattresses were terrible and very worn, the communal areas were dirty and cramped and I didn’t enjoy my stay.

Very good located hostel in Barranco. People here are very friendly. First night you get a free breakfast- good coffee and bread and jam. Roof terace is super cosy.

Miguel was a great host and cooked us a nice breakfast which was free on the first day - good luck with your dancing :-)

The beds need to have their springs changed

Water was off, meaning sinks, toilet and shower. Understand it’s beyond staffs control but there was no warning before we arrived or once we arrived of when the water would be off, and they did not know when it would be back on.

Nice vibe. Hot water heater right in the bathroom. The breakfast at 10 soles is worth it.

I stayed in the private room. The “private entrance” is you ring the doorbell, someone lets you in then you walk past them and others to your door. There’s a “tumble dryer” in the description but there isn’t one. The laundry is a washing machine that you use yourself for 5 soles a kilo then hang it to dry (if there’s sun it might) The laundry outside the hostel is 5 soles a kg. They do it for you and dry it and all.

I like a dark room for sleeping. The people are great if you’ve take the time. Hi Leo. Thank You for everything.

The staff, Leo in particular, has been very helpful and kind.

Second time I stay there. Very nice, close to all the bars, restaurants and cafes.

Staff doesn't speak much English but they are trying to help anyway.

Decent price Good WiFi Comfy rooftop

The hostel is right next to a main road, there was honking car horns all throughout the night and it honestly felt like it was in the room. There's no proper wall separating the hostel from the road, just a wooden garage door so it let's in all the sound. Really need to add sound proofing or don't have a bed right up against this door/wall (my bed was the closest to it so better night's sleep might be had a bit further back) The kitchen is not well stocked and needs additional cutlery and plates etc

It was very loud because of the party outside our room. We were afraid of our belongings and even our selfes. Even bed was dirty so we could not sleep comfortable at all.
