We liked a lot of things about MOAF hotel. Firstly, the staff was very nice and professional. The breakfast was delicious and we couldn’t start our days without their amazing coffee. The room was clean, had a nice view over the hills. It was a great experience for us because we did the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu and we could store our luggage at the hotel without issues. They could provide for us an early breakfast for the mornings when we had tours. We will book this hotel again for sure if we go back to Cusco.

Everything was just perfect. Amazing breakfast, they are very thoughtful and even if you wanted to take breakfast at 9 you could find everything because they kept bringing food. Amazing location, just across the street it is a great supermarket with great prices. The room is very nice and they turn up the heat every night, plus you have lots of blankets. Also the people are amazing and very nice and kind.

It is a little bit challenging to find the hotel at the first time but it was not a big deal after all. Maybe some kind of signage would be recommended inside the building.

Really nice property, the staff is great and helpful with any requests. We liked the breakfast as well as the rooms that were quite spacious and spotless. Its location is great too, very close to the centre, not more than 3-5 mins walking. Overall during the night everything was quiet, the only disturbing thing was when our neighbours next door left very early in the morning and they were too noisy.

The service at this hotel is absolutely outstanding. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like a special guest. We truly felt like everyone there cared about us and our happiness. The hotel has so much character. We had the pleasure of staying in a penthouse room number 401, and the views were breathtaking. The hotel is within walking distance of everything.

Centrally located yet private and quiet, this beautiful getaway is in the heart of Cusco. The receptionists provide top-notch service, making sure that my needs of the day were met…did I need a taxi? Was I warm enough? One offered his phone as a hotspot after the Internet went down in the area. The breakfast-delicious!

In the first room we stayed in, we discovered a lot of ants all over some food we had in the room in a lunchbox. A lot of the rooms open into a nice courtyard with no roof (open to the outside) so that probably makes it more likely there will be some insect issues from time to time. The staff helped us move to a different room and put down some insecticide in the room we left.

We stayed here twice, before and after a four-day trek. Breakfasts were very good and on our last morning we were able to pack some lunch at the end of breakfast for our flight to Lima. The staff was very accommodating with storing our luggage and giving us a late checkout after a flight was rescheduled, the location near the Plaza de Armas is convenient, and the rooms were comfortable.

The staff at MOAF were so so kind. I was nervous about the altitude and potentially getting sick as a solo traveller, and upon my arrival I was reassured that I was not alone at MOAF, which was so lovely. I was able to check in a bit early, someone helped me take my bags upstairs, and I was offered tea. The breakfast was good! And my bed had so many blankets so I was warm even though it was cold at night. The staff offered to hold my bags while I went on a trek, and made me a packed breakfast at 4am! The location is great- super central in Cusco.

Only negative point is the wifi connection which was not available at all times.

Definitely higher standard than all the other hotels we experienced in Cusco. Finitions done in the room, warm, good isolation. Good location, breakfast very nice.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Cusco. It’s in a fab location and the staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They responded quickly to messages and kindly arranged airport taxis. We stayed in the superior double room which was spacious and comfortable with wonderful views.

The only downside to our stay was the wooden flooring throughout the hotel. While it added a lovely rustic charm to the interior, it could get quite noisy. We occasionally heard footsteps outside our door, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

The exceptional breakfast experience truly elevated our stay at the hotel. Each morning, we were treated to a generous buffet featuring a variety of local fruits, fresh breads, and regional favorites that gave us a true taste of the area. One of the standout features was the freshly brewed individual coffee, made to order, which paired perfectly with the array of breakfast options. What made the mornings even more enjoyable was the ability to request eggs cooked to your preference—whether scrambled or sunny-side up, everything was prepared fresh and served with care. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making breakfast something we genuinely looked forward to every day. This thoughtful start to the day really set the tone for the rest of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality and a touch of local flavor in their morning routine.
