The room was very small and basic. Besides having a nice balcony, there was barely space for the suitcases and no place to put anything anywhere. Since the excellent rating, I thought it would be a little better. Breakfast has very little choice.

Very humid with almost “wet sheets” (maybe a common problem in Lima?).We initially had a room with no water pressure, no hot water and clogged toilet. Also you could hear the all the noise from the reception and the renovation in the building. We were changed to a room in higher floor with no problems. The problem is that this was a known issue but we were not offered a room change until very late at night.

There was no gas on one of the mornings which delayed the breakfast service. The staff quickly solved the problem though and the service was concluded (just a bit late).

The location was great, the staff was extremely helpful. They ordered taxis when asked, and took either PEN or USD for payment. At night they have a pizzaria that was quite nice as well.

It wasn’t clear where reception was so i walked into a room misunderstanding gestures from someone around at the time. They soon realised i was new and directed me to reception which i had walked past because the door was shut and i don’t think the sign was clear. Quite noisy at night. Couldn’t decide if was other guests or staff but you can hear what’s happening in the hall for sure.

The night staff were so lovely. I checked out at 2am and was greeted by a smily welcoming face who spoke good english. Nice balcony upstairs to chill although the view isn’t anything. The room was comfortable. Shower and toilet. Good location once you see the sign. little restaurant downstairs if you fancy something to eat but don’t want to walk far. They lock up at night but you can ring a bell to access or go through the restaurant i think.

Would prefer that the reception have a remote system for guests to come back in. Might be ready for a fresh coat of paint in some areas.

Loved how unique each room. Mine was above the interior garden. There are many nooks to relax. The terraces are amazing. The breakfast is simple but satisfying. The staff is very nice.

There is a construction side cross the street ( noisy from 7.30am to 5pm). Otherwise this an excellent choice even for a longer stay.

A very good location and I had a nice room with a balcony. Recommendation! The hostel has a cozy sun terrace. Next door is a good restaurant Mama Olla.

Room a bit small but having balcony opened things up and was enjoyable once the traffic abated and construction stopped from early evening.

Location is very convenient and cemtral to the restaurants, shops and public buses in Miraflores. Very clean room and nice ambient courtyard and terrace/balcony spaces. Restaurant onsite is fantastic and attracts many non-guest customers also which was a good sign. Staff are very helpful and thoughtful.

Included breakfast same every day but it works. No lift but the staff helps with luggage which is a plus.

I requested and got a room with blackout curtains. Location is close to everything, many eateries to choose from. Wifi was stable and allowed me to stay connected. Rooms well maintained by housekeeping.

Its a pity but just in front of the hostal , there are building a new flat making lot of noice,. , machines, etc one can hardly have a conversation during breakfast which is serve in garden of hostal.

The lobby is a little dark.

Great design, wonderful and very devoted team. The towels and the sheets were white and clean. It was compensation for all the not so great places we have stayed in Peru. Good place to start or finish the trip in Peru. We are a family of five and this is almost the only place where they had one room for 5 people. The team helped us a lot with getting a package from Poerto Maldonado in Lima when we had no other local help to lean on.

The property did not meet our expectations because we had really high expectations from previous visits. The rooms were smaller than before and a little cramped. Breakfast was in a patio area in front of a noisey building site. (The building site was obviously not the fault of the hostal, but noise did make conversation difficult, even at 07.00 a.m. We stayed there regularly before the pandemic and breakfast was served inside at the back of the house.) I WOULD CERTAINLY GO BACK. )

The staff were friendly.. The area was lovely and also accessable. The new rooms are well designed and, as on previous occasions, very clean. Breakfast was very good.

We did not have a hot water! It was slightly warm. They tried to fix the problem but problem stayed.

Friendly personal, comfortable bad, good room. Breakfast was basic but fine for us. In general for one or two nights stay was perfect.
