    central location

    - poor communication - no response to messages; - charging full price for early check-in; - very slow, timewasting check-in; - no English speaking staff; - very noisy, cold room; - weak breakfast.

Good location for visiting the historic centre of Lima. It’s a very busy pedestrian shopping street but just a short walk to the taxi pick/drop off points. Friendly staff checked me into my clean, quiet room with a comfy bed and super hot and powerful shower. Fast WiFi. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and the staff let me in early as I had to leave for the airport.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

We can't find anything positive to say about this place.

I have stayed in many hotels throughout the world and I almost never have an unkind word to say about our accommodation, but in this instance I feel compelled to alert other travellers about our experience at the Inka Path Lima. This hotel is in a main pedestrian thoroughfare, and it is EXTREMELY noisy ALL DAY. There was a door to a small balcony over the street, but it wouldn’t close. Eventually management was able to close it, but the noise from outside was still far too load to sleep - it was loud. Through Google translate the office said the noise subsides at 11pm. It was 8pm and we wanted to get an early night, so I insisted on a change of room. The next room was quieter, but it smelt. The power points near the bed did not work and management had to a supply an extension lead. Then we discovered later that there was no toilet roll in the bathroom. We then discovered the toilet was blocked. Management came to unblock it. But it was still blocked. And then it wouldn’t flush. Later in the evening we discovered water all over the bathroom floor – the toilet was leaking. The internet was VERY slow and kept dropping out. No one speaks any English which Increased our frustrations. The breakfast in the morning was abysmal. No bread, no toaster, no cereal, the juice was undrinkable, no cheeses, the fruit consisted of water melon. I showed the waiter the empty cereal dispenser, and no eggs or sausages in the hot food warmer. We waited 15 minutes for something to come out but it didn’t, so we left. Others were also complaining. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The place is a disgrace, and I fail to comprehend how previous travellers have given it a good rating. Only stay here if you are hearing impaired with no sense of smell, you don’t require internet, and you don’t require responsive management. We had another two nights booked here in a week, but we cancelled this reservation and have rebooked elsewhere.

The complementary airport shuttle! We thought we were booking a taxi through the reception and planned to pay the driver, but it was all included! Apologies to the staff member who helped us with our bags. We didn't tip you because we were saving our last soles to pay the taximan, which meant we didn't tip you. We should have given you our soles. Thank you, Inka Path Hotel.

The Location was good. Walking distance to main attractions and Shopping. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The entrance to the hotel is not accessible by lift. A couple of stairs need to be climbed with big luggage and not suitable for wheelchairs. Limited choices of breakfast.

    Property response:

Ms. Suresh Thank you for your comment and for your satisfaction with our facilities. The hotel is a renovated old mansion recognized by the Ministry of Culture. Due to the structure, we cannot accommodate an elevator. Regards Maikel Peinado

Perfect location at the main walking street, close to main attractions. Helpful staff, also at our late night arrival. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Very good value for money.

It was a great surprise for the price, it was a beautiful old building with little Spanish balconies and large interior open spaces. The breakfast was good.

Our floor was pretty dirty and sticky, the first place we have been that didn’t offer a bottle of water.
