Staff are so nice and helpful. The constant coffee and tea in reception is excellent feature. They have a good set up with the radiators coming on a certain time, they kept the room nice and warm.

Not a "dislike" - more of a very minor thing to be aware of - you cannot reach the front door of the guesthouse by vehicle - you will need to walk 160 meters of a small set of stone steps. The very helpful staff are available to assist with getting any luggage to or from the guesthouse.

Charming decor, lovely gardens, central location, quiet and comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast buffet with lots of fresh fruit and eggs to order. Rooms are heated for a few hours in the evening and very early morning, tea is available 24 hours, wifi works pretty well throughout the property. Of the 8 different places that I stayed during my recent trip to Peru, this is my absolute favorite! I would very happily stay here again and would give it the highest recommendation as a place to stay in Cusco.

Possibly the only hotel I stayed in whilst in Peru that was actually quiet at night allowing for a wonderful night's sleep. The private courtyard was beautiful and the breakfast was great.

The bed was very bad, like sleeping on a slab of concrete. The wi-fi was patchy.

The steps up to the hotel and some taxi drivers not knowing where to stop. We just used Jacks Cafe as the location which is located at the bottom of the steps.

Great location with wonderful staff and very clean. Excellent value. Front desk was very helpful with questions and suggestions. Great breakfast.

This was not a problem for us, but there are stairs to get to the hotel from the street. This kept it very quiet because there was no street traffic.

Despite nightly fireworks and loud celebrations for Corpus Cristi, this hotel was so quiet in comparison to other places we have stayed in Peru. The cleaning staff, the kitchen staff, and the front desk staff were all very kind. They accommodated a request for a room change because of a smell in one of the rooms. The gardens are beautiful.

Hostal listed laundry service, however we were told that this is no longer offered starting 2025. Staff was neither helpful in finding any other laundry service place.

Decent hosteria in the heart of Cusco! Our room had a really comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and an adjustable heating. We enjoyed the breakfast, which offered quite some variations and is served in two rooms around the kitchen and in the beautiful inner courtyard. Rooms are all facing the inner courtyard which makes the hostal a quite place (no noise from the street) but comes at the cost of having only minimal sun exposure (at least in June) - breakfast rooms could have been a little warmer in the morning.

Can't really avoid it in Cusco but there are quite a few steps leading to the hotel. A bit tricky exiting the front door from the inside - need to press the door bell through the gate from the outside while being inside. Staff were ok, not overly cheerful.

Pretty much everything. Really nice breakfast included, heaters in the rooms, clean and peaceful. Great atmosphere in the courtyard, free tea in the common area.

Sometimes could be a bit tricky to ring the bell at night to open the gate. The bottom is hard to find. that’s about it!

Nicely located in a quiet area, up the stairs on a pedestrian steeet. We loved the garden, the quiet room, the great breakfast. There was heat in the room, the shower was nice and hot and the beds were comfortable. Everybody was very helpful and accommodating, even preparing a breakfast to go on a day we had an excursion leaving at 5am! Thank you!

- the heaters work automatically, sometimes it would be better if guests could switch them on/off, but the rooms aren’t cold as in many other hotels

- very clean - tasty breakfasts - hot water all the day - very good snack boxes for days we couldn’t have our breakfasts in the hotel - very close to historical city center, shops, restaurants etc - nice staff - reception 24/7 - tea available in the lobby

The heating system only works between 7 PM and 10 PM and 3 AM to 7 AM. Consequently, it’s a little cool in the room after about 8 AM in the morning.
