The breakfast to go wasn't really a breakfast and the first day it wasn't ready on the time of our departure. Restaurant hours could be a little more extended. The receptionists were much colder than in the rest of Peru.

I liked the girl in the restaurant and the dinner menu, as well as the centric location. The room was beautiful and spacious with a great shower.

Location.... being that it's located right on a main street, there is lots of noise from bars, street performers, and tourists into the late evening hours. If you are a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs.

Great location, right in the centre of all the action. Easy to get to the plaza de Armas, the monastery and other happening spots in the city. Location really cannot be beat.

The paint in the bathroom was peeling. I felt it was a little expensive for what I got but the location made up for that. I did feel that the included breakfast made up for the extra cost but I had to leave early for the airport and I missed the breakfast.

Maison Vertre was very nice, nicely decorated and comfortable. It was very well located in the heart of the old historic part of the city well within walking distance of anything you could possibly want. I enjoyed my stay there.

Very loud music at the weekends on the rooftop. Feels like speaker is next to your bed. If you ask when it will end the staff lies. If you asked to be waked up for Colca Canyon Tour as you need to wear earplugs (still hear the bass) they confirm to do so but will not.

It's a very basic hotel in a good location. Good wifi, hot water (bathroom is private, but across the hall), simple breakfast on a lovely roof terrace.

The bar is not very functional, and the staff don't really have any concept of what would make it so. Our first day some of our party were refused vodka shots- as they ONLY sell Pisco shots. There was a group of 15+ people who placed orders for pisco sours before our group (2ppl) asked for vodka sodas, and we were told that our drinks would be made after the 15 other drinks (that were being made one at a time). Not a huge problem, but after that we said thanks but we'll just go somewhere else and the waitress said she had to ask her manager before we could leave? So just more training needed for those behind the bar.

Room was comfortable, staff on the door were extremely nice and helpful. The decor around the place was extremely nice, generally a pleasant atmosphere. REALLY close to the center which is awesome.

I arrived late at night, and it was clear that the staff was not pleased to check me in at that hour. Early the next morning, renovations began in the hostel with loud banging and grinding, filling the entire place with dust. The breakfast was very minimal and disappointing. The only positives were the location and the fact that they allowed me to adjust my booking from three nights to just one. I wouldn’t stay here again.

My room had a private separate bathroom. The bathroom was very dirty, not cleaned after previous guests at all (they cleaned it after I mentioned). Moldy walls in shower. Mattreses and pillows are super old and all yellow and dirty, very hard to sleep. The place itself is noisy because it’s a hostel, but moreover all the noise comes from outside and doesnt stop at least before midnight.

Very noisy, but well located. The rooms aren't very sound proof and you need to ring a bell in order to be let in. This means that people ring the bell throughout the night, causing lost sleep. I suggest the owners provide a WhatsApp number for people to contact between usual sleeping hours (10pm-7am). Also, people chatting in the reception from 5am will wake you up. My room had a leaking tap with a constant, high-pitched "eeeeee" sound that drove me to insanity. Only hot water in the bathroom. Breakfast is very basic. For a vegetarian, you'll get toast, cheese, jam and instant coffee. Room is not serviced daily.

It's located close to the central town square with many tourist attractions. The bed was comfortable enough and place was clean.
