How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I used ear plugs, not sure if I would sleep well without them.
Very close to airport. Since I arrived late, host was in regular contact. Not sure if carring about me or to save the reservation, both cases are reasonable :) Place was clean and well maintained.

It was the perfect place to stay near the airport, but I am not sure this would be the best place to stay if you were visiting the city for longer given its location.
Hospedaje Celerina and Elio was the perfect place to stay during our stopover in Lima. We arrived late on night and departed the following morning, and the Hospedaje was convenient and comfortable. Elio was an excellent host, even staying up until midnight when our flight arrived late. He also drove us back to the airport in the morning. If we are ever passing through Lima again, we will definitely stay here again.

Great location close to the airport. Apartment was clean and spacious enough for 5 people. Elio was nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

Location. Driver didn’t think it was a hotel from the outside which caused some fear and doubt about the hotel. Extensive messaging before stay also added a bit to the unnecessary fear.
Nice staff, good location for AirPort. Clean.

Super comfortable and clean. Staff/owner very accommodating and helpful. Elio even helped us find a craft shop in Lima where my daughter could get some cross stitch supplies!

Narrow bed, and some dog noice during the night
The room is very nice, designed with attention to the details. The bathroom clean. We had a really comfortable stay here. Elio was nice and helpful, organised airport transportation for us.

Very accommodating owners who picked us up from the airport after 2am to bring us back to the hotel. Very comfy and close to the airport, very good value for money.

There is no place to hang clothes. Room size is smaller than what was advertised. Neibourhood seems to be a dodgy area.
Clean room, comfortable bed. The owner provides transport to and from the airport and breakfast at a reasonable cost.

It is very close to the airport, shopping malls, supermarket, etc...but not in touristy area, so best for seasoned or adventurous travelers.
The space was very very clean and the staff was great and really friendly. Very professional. Elio was an extremely great host who communicates great and is always available 24/7 to assist in anyway possible. The space was as described, and that was appreciated.

Not a great area for getting meals or shopping (which is fine if comin from or going to airport); i would have liked to know the extra expenses for airport transfer, breakfast, & luggage storage in advance of the stay

Great place to stay, conveniently close to the airport with fast and reliable communication. There's a shopping center just around the corner to stock up on your travel essentials, and the accommodation offers a fridge with a few extras available for purchase, like beer and soft drinks. Also big screen TV with Neflix and similar apps make it even more fun to stay over night. (That i why we came for the 2nd time)

I had to pay in cash and my room was on the 5th floor, it was hard to go up and down with my luggage and everything.

Elio is a great host, who answers promptly and happy to help even with specific demands (I needed to arrange a late check out and a special breakfast for my diet). The property itself is very clean, safe and comfortable. Great value for money.

The room was very cosy, comfortable and clean. The shower was warm. The TV had Netflix set up which was lovely, it was nice to have a movie night after 8 months of travelling. The staff were so nice and friendly. Very responsive on WhatsApp. Elio even drove us to the airport at a really awful time in the morning for 35 soles (thank you!!) The welcome/ information pack in the room is so helpful, it gave us good supermarket and dinner recommendations! Good wifi

This property was absolutely stunning. The family were wonderful and giving. Cooked a beautiful breakfast. Picked me up at the airport at 1 AM took me to the airport the next day. It was one of the best experiences and I highly recommend it. Excellent value for money!

Not a bad thing but I like to walk places and not alot local without a taxi ride but it does have a money exchange and a supermarket so it's got the necessities.
Close to airport with safe pick up and drop off. Great place with breakfast as an extra. Good value for money

Elio and his parents were nothing short of amazing during my stay. Everything was explained for me to understand. Elio took me on a days tour and got to see so many area's,I would otherwise miss. Was a little noisy with dogs, but I Totally recommend
