Everything is perfection. I stayed an extra week and a half!

The host family is truly hospitable. I was ill with altitude sickness and I had been traveling by bus for what felt like 3 days. This family took me in and made me feel very welcome. The property is very well appointed. Can you say Hot Water Showers? The WiFi is also really strong during the day and seems to be a bit throttled at night. Not their fault. The people who work there are also very lovely souls. Ms. Norma was like a long lost auntie. Truly, solo travelers, especially women, you will feel wrapped in comfort, safety and care! Would come back again and again and again.

Internet was blocked by walls. Needed better placement. Bit far from center but still walkable.

Comfortable place to stay with breakfast for a nice price. Shops and restaurants close by at night. They accommodated holding my bags for a late trip. Enjoyed my stay!

Nice house with my own room. Was at a neighborhood that's ok, 15 min walk into the inner city. I love doing yoga so the roof top was very good for that. Kitchen is basic and I could prepare my potatoes, tea. Communication with the owner is quick and supportive. He let me store my luggage there while I'm in Colca Canyon. I'll come back for a night, check out at 12h and can let my stuff there till my bus in the evening will leave. Bed is comfortable. Wash service for cloth was quick and easy. NoIf someone needs that kind of things and wanna have a little peace and quiet it's nice and can recommend it.

Bit far out of the way of everything, WiFi was in and out. Got woken up by knocking on the door on my first morning after being asleep for an hour to ask if I wanted breakfast, then the second day when I was awake I walked around the building and couldn’t find any breakfast.

Great shower, comfortable bed, spacious and clean room.

As I teach online, it was rather annoying that the internet was very unstable. Even when I sat nextt to both routers, I could barely get a signal sometimes. It was so bad on some occassions that I couldn't pay by card, as the internet is needed to make the machine work. They need to change their internet provider, and then I would happily go back.

The location is in a good área with shops nearby. The rooms are clean and spacious with nice bathrooms and confortable beds. The kitchen is good and the breakfast is adequate. Beautiful views from the rooftop terrace.

It's unfortunate that construction work nearby started after I arrived., but I apppreciate being moved to a different room. Within a couple of days, I realised how unstable the WiFi was; on 2 occassions I couldn't pay by card as there was no WiFi signal, so it caused a lot of problems when I was teaching online. This happened in both rooms on the second floor and the third floor was even worse, so the internet provider needs to be changed. The price was economical when I arrived before the new Year, but now the prices have been raised by 25%.

It's located in a nice área, although a bit far from town, there's good shops nearby. The beds and pillows are confortable. There's a kitchen, a decent breakfast and a rooftop terrace. The rooms are a good size and very clean.

Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. About 10min walk to the historic Center. The people managing the place are nice. Clean room and common areas. Nice breakfast.

The room is quite big, bed is comfy, good shower with good water pressure. The personnel of Casa Moya is very friendly and informative. You can book almost any activity with the owner and his english is very good. The location is close walking distance to the centre but not in the center, so you can enjoy quiet neighbourhood. There is a food shop close, and it is easy to stop a taxi when you need it. Really lovely place with very friendly and helpful people.

Everything was great. The only thing that could be better is to communicate better when the breakfast will be served. I believe it is from 8-9:30 am but sometimes there is no one to serve the breakfast and the guests have to wait.

Casona Moya is a great value for the money. It is located in one of the safest and nicest neighborhoods in Arequipa and at walking distance from the main plaza. The rooms are spacious, and the mattress is comfortable. The bathroom is clean and has hot water. The wi-fi is also good and there is a desk in the where you can work. All the staff is kind and the Gonzalo is a great host who is always a text/call away.

The day I checked out was a Sunday. I went upstairs for breakfast as usual but alas! NO food was in sight, and no housekeeper either! Then the guest next door to the kitchen opened his door and announced that it was Sunday and the housekeeper had a day off. What?! Why didn't I get a heads-up for this, may I ask? BTW, I didn't expect all those stairs to my room, but the housekeeper helped me with my big suitcase upstairs.

Almost everything. When I complained about no hair dryer, I got one the next day. Very accommodating, excellent!

This place needs an administrator. For 3 days of being there, I never had breakfast, because the hostess was busy with family affairs. It was a little frustrating because breakfast was included in the room rate.

New renovation, comfortable bed and furniture. Good location, great view from the roof. Large panoramic windows in the room

The street the hotel faces gets more traffic than I would have thought. If the rumble of motorvehicles bothers you, you might want a room not facing the street (unfortunately all the doubles seem to do so). The second floor desperately needs its own WiFi router or a repeater.

The rooms were nicely appointed including table/desk with chair, clothes hangers and a towel bar in the bathroom. There was genuinely hot water at great pressure (except in the first room I had which had some kind of plumbing issue in this regard, I think the cutoff valve was stuck half way). The internet was stable with good bandwidth as long as you were in a place with a good WiFi signal.

Due to my travel plans, I need to check in early in the morning of next day, i.e will use the room only for few hours before checking out. This is fine for me. The owner reminded me several times that I need to go out by 11. It is ok and polite but repeating it made me feel unwelcome. May be it is me 😁

    - When I arrived I was told the previous guests had extended their stay in my room, so I was sent to a different building with a "better room." The other building was closer to the historic center, but the room was older and had less privacy because the window opened to the courtyard. I told the host that I would like to return to the original room I booked on the website which they said was fine. - The second problem came during checkout. Online it says checkout is at 12, however, the host said that I needed to leave at 11 because another guest was checking in earlier. I showed the host a screenshot of their page saying checkout is at 12. They responded by saying "it's only an hour difference." Even though another guest arriving early isn't my problem I decided to leave at 11 like they asked and contacted booking.com to file a complaint because that's very unprofessional.

    - The room was clean and just like the photos. - The Internet was good and there's a kitchen to cook things. - The location is on the outskirts of the historic center so it's quieter. - I came in the winter, so no air conditioner wasn't a problem. However, that could be a problem in the summer. - There's no hot water for the shower in the morning, but it heats up during the day to a lukewarm temperature.

We requested a quiet room but had one overlooking the kitchen area and we could hear everything going on in the kitchen from our room. They washed our laundry for 7 sol a kilo but it all came back smelling of smoke. We left early in the morning for Cañón del Colca so weren’t able to have breakfast.

Nice place in a good location to access everything in Arequipa. It is a short walk from the main centre. We had a comfortable bed with warm bedding. The shower was warm. It is a short walk from the main centre. We were able to leave our bags at the accommodation early in the morning before check in.
