Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United KingdomThe furniture in the room was a bit dated. Old wooden chairs, not really designed for comfort but I suppose in keeping with the period of the building. Bedside lamps are always nice especially if the light switch is on the other side of the room from the bed.
A good location in the heart of the historic centre in an old colonial building. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast included, although the jelly was a bit of a surprise.

SwedenSo a few negative aspects. The walls aren't very thick which means you can hear alot during the evenings. The rooms are just so-so, for the price it was worth it but I wouldn't lounge around in the room. The lock was, well a padlock. I thought it was charming but as far as security goes as well as setting a standard for a hotel it's subpar compared with other places. It was also a bit difficult to find since there was no sign and the entrance is simply a door. If the staff didn't open you would really have no idea.
Very elegant hotel with lots of statues and paintings. The rooftop was definitely a favorite. It was cheap and right in the city center.

Location was good and very good staff. This is a heritage property and very high ceilings, grill windows, lovely painting, mosaic on roof for natural light etc. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

GermanyBreakfast was fairly simple and preparation took a while. There was no soap in the bathroom.
Employees were very helpful. Since we arrived early in the morning and left before breakfast the next day they let us into the room earlier and allowed us to eat breakfast at the day off arrival instead of departure. Hotel is quite pretty, very clean and ideally located for visiting the Centro historico. There was a cute cat in the hotel.

GermanyThe room is more than basic, there was a cable hanging from the wall, no natural light, no decorations, it felt a bit like a prison cell. For more than 1 night, I would not recommend my room.
The building is very centrally located. The staff is very welcoming and the airport transfer (though at an extra cost) was very well organized and comfortable. The breakfast is basic but freshly prepared for each guest.

United KingdomBe careful as they will try to overcharge you. The taxis (they book for you) will try to overcharge you and they are not safe. They gave me a room with a hole in the wall, and no window. When I complained, they asked for extra money to move me to a room with a window. Breakfast is two slices of burnt cold toast, with jam and butter, and what it resembles coffee.

A lovely historic building with high ceilings and plenty of character and a lot of Art 🙂. Very central and perfect for visiting historic sites. VERY quiet - excellent night’s sleep. Nice breakfast on the rooftop. safe area and easy parking for taxis outside.

United KingdomI went in September which is winter in Peru. Their rooms do not have heating, the doors have spaces between the floor and the door through which the cold comes in. The bathroom is basic, and I’m being kind about that. I asked to change rooms and was told no, i asked for a refund was told no, i asked to speak to a manager and then they changed my room to a 2nd floor room which was slightly more protected from the wind.and yes there are cables hanging from the ceiling.
I liked the hallways and the location, very beautiful common spaces and very easy to explore the city from there. The staff that serves breakfast is incredibly nice.
