We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsI had such a pleasant and lovely stay. They made the stay as comfortable as possible and I felt really welcome. I could join the hostess at a local festivity in Chivay with traditional clothings and dancing. We also made such a lovely walk and saw some ancient settlements. Having a bath in the local hot springs was so lovely. The food was really good and they made me feel at home. I would definitely recommend to stay for a local, authentic and warm experience.

BrazilOur stay at Casa Vivencial Mama Vivi was truly unforgettable. The family was incredibly welcoming, and we had the chance to experience everyday life in the community in a very genuine way. It’s a perfect place to relax, with beautiful nature all around, thermal baths nearby, and plenty of small hikes to enjoy. Our young daughter especially loved helping feed the baby alpacas and joining in the activities with the family. The homemade meals were delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for an authentic, peaceful stay full of cultural experiences and local warmth, this is the perfect choice in the Colca region.

FranceWe spent a wonderful 5 days here and enjoyed every minute. The accommodation is in a converted farmhouse in the village, so it is simple but very cosy and beautifully decorated with traditional fabrics and artwork by the family. The views around the farm are stunning. Mama Vivi and Juan are exceptional hosts. They welcomed us like family and put a huge effort into making our stay special. We visited their animals, Colca Canyon, the hot springs nearby, took walks to local landmarks and Juan even accompanied us into Chivay to help us get some shopping and bus tickets. Mama Vivi cooked hearty, tasty food that was perfect for our family. We were sorry to leave and will treasure our time with Mama Vivi and Juan.

AustraliaEverything was good. Only thing is each bedroom needs a rubbish bin.
I loved my experience at Mama vivis. They take good care of you when you stay there and help to organize excursions. Loved the hot pools and the authentic rural experience. There's no wifi, but I got very good mobile data reception with claro. They cook you very good (to large for me) meals for an additional but reasonable charge.
