Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. United KingdomTiny swimming pool was more like an ice plunge pool ! The english bar needs a little investment, feels dated and fake, needs to be made comfier with some larger lounge chairs and side furniture, you cant just dark oak panel a room and call it an english bar
Very good hotel, great staff, everyone very helpful and attentive. Safe neighbourhood and very pleasant to walk around. Some nice restaurants within a short walk but no busy bustely neighbourhood to hang out in. Very good location in between the centre, Minaflores and Barranco - but all a 20-30min taxi ride away due to the traffic in the city. Taxis very cheap tho. I would recommend and stay here again.

United StatesThe ladies at the front desk on arrival (Dec 28 @ 5 pm ) were absolutely terrible. Introductory greeting was abrupt, and when we asked questions she was annoyed and bothered. On more than one occasion we had to ask her questions the following days and we would avoid her and ask the gentlemen instead. As a Peruvian and Spanish speaking family it’s quite terrible to have to deal with such a welcome and repetitive behavior. We understand people have an off day, however, on a consistent basis and as the front desk manager this is definitely not the image a hotel (such as the Country Club should like to portray). The hotel could use some updating—-the pool and health club.
The location was excellent and safe. Majority of staff, especially Eduardo (greeter at the front area where car services / concierge staff stood) was fantastic and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make certain we had our car service (s) and was knowledgable on traffic times during the holidays. He was personable, kind and content.

United KingdomStaff on reception weren’t overly friendly or helpful. Luckily Concierge were great, especially Eduardo. Marked it down as our room was next to air conditioning system which was very noisy, blacked out window to hide it so no natural light. Building works going on so banging and hammering all day couldn’t think straight when in the room. Shame as we were returning to Lima and would have rebooked if they had been more accommodating.

United KingdomRoom large but old fashioned - all the plugs the old slot type and though they give you an adaptor in a 5 star I expect modern plugs and USB points. The room lighting is dreadful. The room generally dated. The gym is poor. I’m sure some people love this hotel but I wouldn’t return.
