The facilities are a little bit outdated. Regulating the temperature of the water was next to impossible and the window panes are super thin, it does not block sounds. Our first night there was a concert in the plaza - which is one street from the hotel - and it seemed that the orchestra was inside the room. Considering it is already difficult to sleep in such a high place, if there are events outside it makes it difficult to rest because there is terrible sound isolation

Breakfast: 6:30-8:30 am was really a short time for guests to enjoy breakfast. And not only the selection, but quantity was also limited. It was one of the worst breakfast experience on my one month trip in south America! Really 😞 disappointing.

The hotel didn't feel like 4 stars to us, quite dated. If you make the payment with a credit card, they charge 4% extra.

The location was good as it's walking distance to the main square. They provided hot water with tea at the lobby. The staff was helpful for printing my visa for the border crossing.

Unfortunately it was a problem for the staff to help is organise a transfer from the airport. Also the day we left, there was a national strike. No-one from the reception said a word about it when we said we are going to the bus station. Not their responsibility but still a human being thing.

We asked for a late check-out (one hour later) and were told it was no issue. Then the front desk called and told us we would be charged half the room rate so we quickly checked out. Better communication from the front desk staff would have been appreciated.

The only slight drawback was a foul odor in the bathroom, likely from the drains. It wasn’t a major issue, but it might be worth looking into.

We encountered a delay and arrived in Puno a day later than planned (in the morning instead of the previous evening). The hotel staff was incredibly understanding and accommodating—they allowed us to have breakfast and even applied a discount to our room rate (the delay was due to protests in the country that caused the cancellation of our scheduled bus). The breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location was ideal for exploring Puno and the Lake Titicaca region. An excellent choice overall!

The altitude was a bit of a constraint for us.

Great shower/pressure and hot water. Breakfast is limited to one egg in addition to the regular bread, cold meat and fried potatoes. Location is very central; walking distance to the plazas, water and local markets. Beds are comfy.

The shower in my room had windows that wouldn't completely close, not a problem in summer but quite cold getting in and out of when I stayed in winter.

We stayed at this lovely hotel twice during our trip to Puno. The room was very spacious, with a small living room and a large bedroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast was good. The location is very convenient being close to the main square where the restaurants and shops are.
