The private room had potential, but a few tweaks would elevate the stay: better cleaning, no towels included, and simple touches like shelves or coat racks to keep things organized. Soap was provided, but bring your own shampoo and body gel unless you like minimalist shower routines. It’s a place with warmth and good intentions just waiting to polish the finer details, that are important.

Tucked near Kennedy Park and the Metropolitano station, this cozy spot offered just what I needed: a seriously comfortable bed and a kind, youthful hosting crew who went the extra mile, including carrying our suitcase up the stairs, since there's no lift. The location was super convenient, with groceries nearby and breakfast included. Though the first morning's meal stood out, the following days didn’t quite match that initial impression.

shower could have been cleaner

You can't beat the price for this lodging! It was a simple room with two bunkbeds, double bed on one bottom bunk so it slept 5 people. room was clean and beds were hard but that's typical for Peru. Bathroom was shared so it wasn't super clean (some hair in the shower) but was decent and there was fantastic hot water in the shower. Location was great! Safe neighborhood with pizza place right across the street, small convenience store around the corner and 1/2 mile from multiple restaurants. It was not well marked when our diver arrived but the staff quickly responded to my What'sApp message and came down to meet us.

Its not really your kind of place to stay long. One night is enough. Your better off in another hotel which is closest to Miraflores centre.

The staff they do their best to welcome you, very friendly, they even allowed us to check-in 4hrs earlier before the check-in time. Its a place if your looking for one night. We got the double room and shared toilet inclusive of breakfast which was bread, scrambled egg & coffee. Its the basics for an accomodation that is out from the centre and they have a kitchen to cook and drink water.

Our room was on the terrace but we could hear all the noise coming from the street or anyone who would talk on the terrace. Didn’t bother us as we fell asleep quickly!

The owner welcomed us very well at 11:00pm. We stayed only for 5 hours as we had to get a taxi to the airport early morning but overall our stay was great for the price we paid. Great terrace on top.

Even with the low price and good location, I wouldn’t recommend staying here — especially if you’re looking for rest and basic cleanliness. It’s worth paying a bit more to avoid such an unpleasant stay.

We stayed here for two nights with my family and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The place looked clean and perfect online, but when we arrived, we were shocked by how dirty everything was — the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas. The staff was friendly and kind (mostly young people), but that doesn’t make up for the poor conditions or the misleading presentation of the property. On our last night, we needed to wake up very early, but the same staff was making loud noise until 3 or 4 a.m., which made it impossible to sleep — despite all the posted rules about respecting quiet hours. Breakfast was included, but we had to ask for it, and the kitchen was in such bad condition that we didn’t even want to eat there.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! This is just a Hostel NOT a Hotel. I had awful treatment from the staff here If you are looking for a private room go ANYWHERE else first. I booked a private room with a private bathroom. An hour before check-in they messaged me to say a previous guest had not checked out, so I couldn't have the room, but I could have a family room. So I travelled to the hotel, and they showed me a room, this room doesn't have a private bathroom, just a bathroom shared with the hostel people. I'm 62, I grew out of dorms a long time ago. So I asked for them to find me something the same as I had booked and Paid for. It's now late in the day and all hotels at a similar price have been booked. The owner took NO responsibility for finding me a replacement room. Terrible terrible treatment from people supposed to be in the hospitality industry.

Very noisy, you can hear cars and buses all night and long, only 2 bathrooms for multiple dorms with 6, 8 persons in it. The owner bullied me for cooking a traditional dish, actually tried to kick me out in the middle of the night for the earlier cooking. They don't want you to use the kitchen. The cleaning woman is aggressive and yells inside the hostel like a crazy person. Very stressful place. Please avoid.

!!!!ATTENTION!!!! THIEF!!!! LADRON!!!! Nice hostel, the bathrooms get cleaned every day and most of the staff is also very nice. But I got stolen all my money out of my trousers while I was sleeping next to it. The staff told me it's the 3rd time that a tourist is getting robbed in my room and also one volunteer who stayed in my room stole my bread twice I saw the package of it in his bed so please be aware for the next time as long as this guy is there!!!!

The photos are deceiving, the common areas are small and they feel cramped. The owner invading your personal space is uncomfortable. There are no fans or cooling system so you cannot enjoy a nap in the afternoon.

I stayed two nights here. Absolutely recommended! Very well served location: great for both seeing Miraflores and Barranco and for going to the older area of the Cathedral. Cozy and clean hostel and really nice and helpful hosts :)

Only two things: first, your Spanish needs to be at least passable to stay here, as the owner and his staff do not speak much English at all. Second, the tap water is not potable. It's a Peru-wide issue, so it's not the fault of this hostel, but visitors should know.

The staff are great, both very kind and very attentive, and will do what they can to help if you need something. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the linens are freshly laundered. The location is also quite nice; only a twenty minute walk from Kennedy Park and not much further from there to the coast, all in a safe part of town.

We felt like we had been scammed. The property is that in the pictures but did not look the same at all in person. The whole place, but especially the bathrooms, were so dirty. I felt disgusting the whole time I was here. First night the hot water was turned off the for whole property so we couldn't shower etc. We stayed for three nights and the bathrooms etc were never cleaned, just a dirty rag dragged around on the floor, gross! No soap or toilet paper in the bathrooms. Stay clear of this property. The location was not close to things, it's not worth it. The only saving grace was that the WiFi was good
