Small portion sizes with expensive prices

Comfortable, hospitable, very welcoming, give you free snacks here and there which is a nice touch. They make it obvious you are in a nice resort. Pool is very nice and hot tub. Served food late, and restaurant is good.

The access road to the property, literally is an oasis in the middle of desert.

The service, staff have great customer service. Goes beyond their responsibility to help the customers, providing service with great care and knowledge.

The road to get there is not their fault, but I wish they would make the road paved to a wonderful location.

Absolutely beautiful resort with wonderful staff and delicious food. The beach is beautiful and private and the water was warm in January. We will be back.

I would prefer that there are a bit more restrictions for young kids yelling and to be kept more under control by the common areas. They did disturb the peace.

The staff is exceptional. All the people working there take their jobs very seriously, with passion and care. I appreciate the warmness and willingness to help us for anything we needed/asked.

I pay for a room with spa bath and when i got there they told me the water was not temperate. So a spa bath with cold water is not nice. The food is nothing special and is expensive yes

The hotel is beautiful, the pool is really pretty and the location is calm. The staff is really nice they always have a smile for you. People on the fron desk not so much tho

The property is beautiful but it is showing its age. At first glance you don’t notice but the resort is showing a lack of ongoing maintenance over the years. It is cleaned and washed down daily but it’s the long term care that has been neglected. I would still go back however.

Rooms could use a little update. They feel a little dated and lack a bit of soul. Art and rugs and other small touches could be added to make them warmer and more inviting.

Hydrotherapy bath on the deck wasn't working properly but didn't detract from our stay.

Having a bar on the beach instead of just in pool or restaurant area, with adequate background music would enhance experience. The dirt road from Panamericana Highway to hotel needs to be paved right away

Facilities are pristine and staff very attentive. Food quality is above average to very good, although they can improve it to awesome. Definitely a great place to relax , especially for families with kids

There are many rocks in the ocean in front of the Hotel which made the swimming very difficult. In fact, I ran into one large rock while swimming and scratched my arms trying to avoid the rock

The sand bikes were not really rideable due to rusting. It’s partly our fault because our Spanish is not good, but there was only one waiter that spoke excellent English.

This hotel is simply stunning. The food and drinks were amazing. Our room was lovely. We picked a sea view and were so glad that we did. It was amazing to wake up to the sight and sound of the sea. Ultimate relaxation after the Inca Trail. There are plenty of places to sunbathe peacefully. It was our honeymoon and the hotel gave us fizz and chocolate covered strawberries on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Alvaro was an outstanding waiter - thanks for your amazing English.

The mattress was soft, the breakfast and restaurant are Ok but not 5 stars. The cocktails are not good. No gym, the massage room is just in front of the toilets. Some facilities need renewal.

The location is unbeatable, the rooms with a pool a great. Most staff were nice.

Not a 5-star standard hotel or breakfast. 4 star is more reasonable. Hence, not very affordable. - area around the hotel is a very dirty - the road to get there is 5km dirt road and extremly bumby - you cannot really swim at the beach infront of hotel beacause of rocks - not much to do in the area besides relax at the pool. But if this is what you are looking for it works

Ok so we paid $1600 for 4 nights at Arennas Mancora We where planning on having the best hotel experience *5 star hotel with great reviews.. We did have a great time BUT there are a few things that did bother us. 1. The service - front desk in particular are NOT nice, some have attitude and didnt give us complete answer to our questions - We waited for 2 days out of 4 for bathrobes.. (the lady from the front desk did it in spite) - The front desk didnt inform us about movie night (so we missed it) didnt inform us about champagne tasting and Pisco tasting. Although we asked to see the itinerary they refused to give it to us but only "tell" us what is planned 2. The staff does NOT speak English.. - Nor at the restaurant (bad experience) they keep speaking Spanish although they see we dont understand - The Pisco tasting was not in English although ONLY English speaking people participated (he translated with his phone) *NOT WHAT I WOULD EXPECT FROM A 5 STAR HOTEL 3. The Jacuzzi was constantly cold and after asking a few times to make it worm we gave up.. 4. WORST EXPERIENCE - we where planning on getting a massage (actually this is why we choose this hotel BUT the massage was CLOSED on a Wednesday - when we asked the front desk we where told that there is nothing to do - NOT AN ANSWER I WOULD EXPECT FROM A 5 STAR HOTEL 5. We choose to eat dinner at the restaurant. On our last night we ordered pizza and a burger The pizza was cold and the burger wasn't made enough.. When we told this to the waiter he said sorry but there is nothing he can do. He asked if we are enjoyingand we said no and he said oi thats a bad experience BUT DID NOTHING THIS IS NOT THE EXPERIENCE I WOULD EXPECT FROM A FIVE STAR HOTEL Waiting your response
