Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. BarbadosWe were originally in a pretty good room however, we had to be moved due to unforeseen circumstances next door and was placed in a way smaller room with no views. No iron in room. No adequately supplied with hotel toiletries.
The hotel was in a good location and the uber was pretty cheap. The breakfast was a wide variety.

Trinidad and TobagoThe only drawback during my stay at Hotel El Panama by Faranda was the faulty bathroom drain pipe. While I will commend the staff for trying to resolve the issue, the problem was ultimately left unchanged.
There were a few note-worthy things about the hotel that made my trip enjoyable. Those are the excellent variety of breakfast options, the politeness and diligence of the staff, the convenience in location, and the overall cleanliness and architecture of the hotel.

CuraçaoOur bathroom shower door was pretty crooked and hasd to be held shut whil showering....maintenance did not have a fix for it. We ended up using a small towel to hold the door shut. The complimentary coffee was not available in the room, nor the sugar or tea. After duscusding a bit with the reception, we received them. There was a trascan onmy in the bathroom. Would be good to have one in the room itsekf. The drying clothes line did not work, it was stuck. And unfortunately the beds were not comfortable at all... one of the mattresses sank in the middle. So maintenance/updating of the rooms can be better. The pool tiles are in need of a good update.
I liked the location, the size of the room, the bathroom was a shower (that is a good thing), the look of the building, the pool, spa, gym and breakfast (although it can use more variety for the omelet). The complimentary water bottles each day, was very much appreciated. The pool is nice, large and very clean. The staff were nice and tried their best to help when needed. Breakfast was nice and delicious. The ease of having markets, restaurants on the premises and very nearby, farmacy, etc was ver good.

United StatesThe hotel feels a little tired and long in the tooth. It needs a refresh to replace some worn-out amenities (the lighted mirror in my room was broken and it was obvious there used to be a tv in the bathroom that someone took out and just covered over with a piece of finished wood. The daily labor union protests across the street, while not the hotel’s fault, made it almost impossible to work or relax during the day.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was great and the 24 hour restaurant onsite was nice to have. Good pool area as well.

United KingdomStaff had trouble with their own checking in system and so didn’t know if our rooms were occupied or not. Staff continued to burst into our room or call in the early hours of the morning to check if rooms were occupied. It was very frustrating. Also, our door key pad malfunctioned repeatedly, locking us out of our room which meant having to get a member of their maintenance team to let us in the majority of the time. However, staff were super helpful with everything , facilities were good, big rooms, great pool, good breakfast.

We didn’t get water in the room by check in and only two coffee capsules with note that you can buy another for price of 2 usd is a bit too much.
