I loved everything! The room was clean and very spacious. Even though it didn't say that it was a asea view, we could see the sea from the kitchen window, The food at the restaurant was also very good and the staff was very attentive. Karaoke was also fun..thanks for brightening up my evening :) The art gallery was amazing as well. Keep up the good work Annie :) I'll definitely return!

On the expensive side for Portobelo.

Best hotel in town. Perfectly located with nearby secure parking. Spacious, beautifully furnished room with a lovely balcony overlooking the bay. Very nice bathroom. Excellent restaurant, kind and helpful staff, and an attached shop/art gallery with a knowledgeable curator. Can't go wrong with this choice

1. Very slippery bathroom floors 2. You can hear every morning boat engines noise around 7 am . 3.every night I can hear mouses or rats trying to scratch or get inside the room from roof I believe 🤦‍♀️ 4.And your parking not free, $7.00 every night the price is not big deal, but they should definitely mention on booking. 5.we stayed on a 3 rd floor it was only option for family(I don’t mind👌) but the way last 16 stairs was made was a very extreme for us to go up and done😔so if you have back problems or you have to care heavy suitcases or baby 3rd floor is not your option 👎

Hello! I love our room size just perfect for us. We had 3 medium size windows and they all have awesome views. Hot water, good air conditioning, room had a fridge and electric kettle 👌very convenient for me because I love to have my own tea or hot water before breakfast 👌 Manadger send me welcome text & share his exact location with me true WhatsApp ( I felt very pleased) Very clean restaurant & yummy breakfast, it’s was very convenient because we had hungry toddler with us😁

The rooms are comfortable and very well decorated but they need a few renovations (nothing relevant).

It is very well located, just in front of the sea. The rooms are big and very nice. They can coordinate boat trips just on the water front of the hotel/restaurant.

The place is cute, tranquile, interesting and clean. The staff in the hotel is really nice, and the breakfast is actually very good. Well located to visit Portobello ruins.

Everything was wonderful. Our apartment was large, comfortable and looked out over the beautiful bay. Breakfast was included and wonderful. We also dined here one night for dinner and had cocktails. Everything was delicious and fresh. We did several activities with the hotel but the percussion class at La Escualita de Ritmo was the highlight. Portobelo is rich in history, culture and beauty. The town is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying at Casa Congo.

Really liked my room, so nice to have a chilled calm place to stay. Also the restaurant serves good food with lovely views out across the water. Good A/C, nice breakfast and excellent location.

The rooms are accessible only by staircase.

The hotel front towards the sea is great and e arranged for Juan to pick-up us directly at the hotel to bring us at Playa Huerta. Portobelo was very lively during Carnaval and we were one of the few tourists enjoying the scene. Hotel is located between the two fortress and can simply walk there. There is an ATM at the police station with diving centre 100 m away.

Great location in town, on the coast - great views, comfortable hammocks. Helpful to arrange water taxi trips to beach. Staff very helpful and friendly. Near forts and restaurants.

Incredible view and lovely patio with hammock situated on the water. The room was comfortable and we truly enjoyed the art surrounding us at every step, both in the room and at the gallery and restaurant. . The staff was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. Highly recommend!

Access. You need to park the car 100 meters away. Not a big deal!

The Reina Congo was a great room with a balcony on the water. Food @ the Restaurant was very good. Jose @ the reception was fantastic. Also, the restaurant staff were courteous.
