All staff extremely friendly. Chedi pool and restaurant by the sea was our daily haunt and the service was amazing. All the staff were very helpful and if we had any issue it was sorted in a matter of minutes. The layout was excellent and the varied wildlife around was great to see from the lizards to the crabs nesting on the beach and the seabirds diving for fish. The selection of foods at breakfast was excellent something for everyone. Overall a very enjoyable experience with everything you expect from a hotel of this quality.

Tea making facilities should be in the lounge and not the bedroom so if one gets up you don't disturb the person still sleeping. Everything else was excellent

Everything! We had a n amazing time at The Chedi Muscat in late August & the staff were all very friendly, cooperative & helpful. Form Sultan who checked us in to Adil as the concierge, Bulushi at the pool restaurant, and Morris making sure we were all taken cared of. Food was all great, amazing deserts, unique pools and great gym. Value Location Service

Private beach, 3 pools and beautiful gardens. Incredible views and the infinity pool was just breathtaking. Treated like royalty by staff and what a fantastic breakfast spread too! Would highly recommend to everyone! Got complimentary cake for our 25th wedding anniversary. Sultan at the desk was the most helpful, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

The facilities and staff were excellent

Some of the bars were closed due to the weather which was a bit of a shame.

Beautiful- really beautiful hotel and facilities

No kids club, no small swimming pool for kids, limited food options and really really bad wine. Overall pricey (20 USD for a glass of bad wine, 30 USD for a Hamburger

Stunning beachfront location, Luxurious and minimalist design. Beautiful long pool with relaxing atmosphere. The spa was unforgettable and celebrating my sister’s birthday made it even more magical 💕🎉 Thank you to the wonderful team who made it special. Thanks to Ana, Isaam & Saad for being so helpful and making our experience extra special.

The Chedi has been on my wish-list for so many years and it didn't disappoint. Perfect room, immaculate grounds, beautiful pools to choose from, close enough to go hiking, and great food.

    That I had to leave.

We had a fantastic stay at The Chedi. The hotel has excellent facilities - quite modern, but with a distinct Omani style. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and serviced regularly and invisibly for the guests. The main restaurant (which has a funky name - The Restaurant) provides fantastic breakfast and very high-quality a la carte dinner (not cheap!). Of the hotel facilities there are several highlights - an excellent gym, which is a joy to visit, a very long swimming pool (over 100m) and striking night views of the hotel territory, when the lights are on and live fires are set in special bowls here and there. Special mention goes to the hotel staff who gave us great care and attention, everywhere really - at the reception, at the restaurant, in bars, at the pool and in the gym. I have to say special thanks to Ahmed, the barmen at the Serai pool bar, who was particularly warm and friendly to us and also showed to us what the legendary Omani hospitality is like in real life. Not much to do for younger kids, but otherwise an excellent choice for families and couples.

If I really scratched my head to find something which requires improvement at The Chedi, then two things come to mind. (1) The beach could be made a little friendlier to those guests who prefer to swim in the sea as opposed to staying by the pool (which of course does not mean that the beach is bad, far from it); (2) the conditioners in the rooms are quite noisy (maybe it is a matter of the right settings and the guests just need a little guidance on that).

Pools beautiful, access to beach superb, quiet resort, very attentive and helpful staff, seafront restaurant location great if you don't look around. Staff at reception very helpful for taxi or tour.

Breakfast very busy and difficult to get clean table or someone to serve for coffee. Bar/lounge service after dinner, waited 25 mins and gave up. Forgot my room key, no phone on floor to call reception for help and room was far from reception. Waited 25 mins for staff to appear. Shame about the huge ugly apartment building on top of the hotel, takes away from experience.

Filthy hallways. Cheap food. Beach and pool too crowded and no sun beds. Like grand central station all day with people everywhere. Beach is across the road. Very tiny and paying non hotel guests are taking up a lot of tie space. Underpass has vagrant or people selling things and does not feel safe and is easily accessed from public footpath. Our hallways was constantly full of carts and rubbish. Walls are dirty and the carpet is so filthy it sticks to your feet.

Not like the photos at all. Too many people for the facilities available. Beach full of concrete waste and dirty sand.
