Mohsin is a very careful, nice and heartwarming person who cares about the facility and guests. The view from the rooms are fantastic, the food is very good and the W6 breathtaking. Perfect location for hiking and peacful recreation.

The route to get there involves 9 kms of off road and an unpleasant & bumpy ride. Only possible with a 4 wheeler. Please be warned before booking. This is called 'resort and spa' which is a big stretch because it isn't. It's a bunch of rooms overlooking the mountain. There is definitely no spa. There is not much to do once there, so a stay of one night makes sense.

The view of the mountains was the highlight. Plenty of goats around (some may not like it). The rooms were comfortably spacious and clean. Very rustic vibe. There was only one staff - Nithish - and he made us feel welcome.

Location was perfect, right at the top of Jebel Shams and at the start of the balcony walk. Our room looked directly out across the mountains. So beautiful.

As expected, prices spiked during Eid

Clean room, nice view on the Canyon. Good breakfast and dinner. Bathroom ok, all working well. Very close (literally few meters away) to the starting point of the Balcony Trek (easy, yet very nice).

Spending a night or two in a cozy 400 years old huge mud house is hard to beat. We loved this place and the host was fantastic…dinner and breakfast included and they were good!

The only thing I would change is the water situation. Can we have large, reusable bottles, filled from a centralised dispenser, please! The current system of issuing tiny 200ml single-use plastic bottles is just not OK. I'm sure guests would be happy to bring their own reusable bottles - anybody doing the Balcony Walk will surely have their own?

I have stayed here several times before, and my reason is always the same: an unbeatable location if you wish to hike the Balcony Walk.

The beds were very hard, uncomfortably hard. The boiler of the shower did not hold much hot water at night. During the day, when the sun was shining, the water of the shower was too hot to shower.

Perfect location for hinking the Balcony Walk, right at the start. Breakfast and dinner was good, also enough for vegetarians. The staff was very friendly! The room was just as the pictures!

The breakfast was passable and the price/quality ratio is a tad off.

The provided dinner was good with few options. The view was great and location fantastic to enjoy the walk in the morning hassle-free and watch the color change throughout your stay. Loads of lovely goats around (tip: park far from the trees!). The breakfast could have been served slightly earlier for those wishing to hike since it imply checking out right after breakfast and not enjoying your room/shower once you’re back - unless you do not complete the hike or walk crazy fast.
