Location, Mere meters away from the fort Rooftop restaurant is really good and overlooks the fort and mosque, much cheaper to go here than surrounding places. Staff were very friendly!

Like others, we did trip the breaker in our room and had to call downstairs for assistance. The guy at the front desk came up right away and opened a panel behind a picture in the hallway (lol) to reset it. The toilet also stopped flushing randomly. It just needed a jiggle of the handle to fix it though.

The location of this hotel is excellent and our room was spacious. The a/c was sufficient, even on a hot day. I particularly liked the rooftop breakfast and the restaurant on the ground floor was also good.

- The works on the terrace in front of our window. The works were not in process, so not noise. But the view was à little spoiled. The owner should clean the terrace between 2 works. - The lay-out of the room. The room are very nice but there are some small disturbing details. No light close to the bed. Only for the room, and no switches close to the bed. Sofa not facing the TV. A lot of electric switches but most of them at the wrong pla.ce and not working.

The bathroom at times had some sewage smell coming out of the pipes. The mattress is a bit hard, but this is just a matter of preference :)

1. Staying on 3rd floor, expect noises from upstairs early morning and late night because of terrace restaurant on 4th floor 2. Bathroom didn’t had any hooks or stands for towels, clothes and even for shampoo, soap etc. 3. We had troubles with toilet flushing & blocked sink, requested and partially resolved.

The showerhead in the bathroom is fixed and cannot be detached for use. The breakfast area is located on the rooftop, but there is no elevator access. These two aspects might be inconvenient for individuals with limited mobility (although there is also a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel).

If you book two rooms and request connecting rooms, they will be two opposite rooms linked by a small living area/foyer, creating a spacious environment where large luggage can be placed in the living area/foyer. The decor is relatively new and very clean. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Nizwa Fort, the central landmark of the area.

Bathroom was basic but very clean. Hot water supply was not strong so it was only warm showers for us.

Location was good, right in the middle of the Old Quarters of Nizwa Old Town. Easy access to many of the old town charming attractions, great food places & the local market selling all things Omani. The rooftop Cafe is an amazing place to chill and enjoy the beautiful view of the Old Town area, beautiful sunset view as a bonus. Room was comfy & very clean. Friendly & attentive staffs.

Old aircondition in the room - it was too cold or too hot.

Keep in mind that this is a very basic room with basic facilities, but all good to explore Nizwa

The old town hotel is located in the old center of Nizwa and can be easily reached by car. There is free parking near the hotel. There is a rooftop on top of the hotel, but this is only open as from 4pm, for drinks and sweets only. Old Town Hotel is located close to the souks and Nizwa fort (5 min walk)

As others have mentioned, the shower doesn't drain hence the bathroom will flood.

The location of this hotel is fantastic within the old city. Free parking was easy to find and to drive to (contrary to what other reviews mentioned). The room was very comfortable, great bed, bedding, & powerful aircon.

The breakfast location is quite far from the hotel considering staying with kids but it was not a big deal. The hotel needs to keep the toilet on the ground floor near reception more clean.

Very convenient location in the heart of the Nizwa historic town, the room is nice and comfortable. Hotel also has a coffee shop with a fabulous view on the roof top to enjoy the beautiful night
