The facilities were quite dilapidated. The carpet inone of the units was very stained and threadbare. Some of the lights didn't work and some of the showers had hair left in them from a previous occupant. The upstairs floor was very noisy, making it difficult for people in the downstairs room to sleep.

It was a good location and the staff were friendly and helpful. It looked like they were slowly renovating as there was a big difference in the quality of the units.

The couch was a little uncomfortable and some of the paint work could be soon ready for a refresh

Friendly and helpful staff, the unit had great heating, plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen and a beautiful outlook to blossoming trees. The location was excellent, close to the magnificent Hocken Library, the Botanical Gardens and the buzzing heart of Dunedin city.

Bathroom in the family room Outdated upstairs room

We booked 3 separate rooms. Feedback above was based on the room I had (Room 308) Single Room - was amazing, excellent, modern, warm, exceptional Family Room - Loads of space, excellent, modern, warm. Only down fall - bathroom was out dated Upstairs Room - Out dated. Had teenagers in there so they weren't to fussed grateful for the wifi. Grateful for the washing facilities, just perhaps look at the dryer as it wasn't working and we ended up taking our stuff to the dry cleaners. Although slightly outdated in some areas I would definitely recommend this motel. Central to everything. Walking distance to town and eateries.

We found our two apartments very cosy and comfortable for our big family. We had the playground right outside our rooms which was handy for the kids, location is good - close to all the food spots and was nice that we had enough parking spaces close to our rooms.

no lighting on the sign and very hard to locate at night. no check in staff or site staff after 6 pm google maps cannot locate this motel and keeps trying to take you around the block and into a private drive way

Noise can be a little annoying. We were in a middle unit this time and we heard a lot of noise from the other units beside us things like their toilet flushing, showering, climbing of stairs etc which we didn’t get as much of when we have been in the end units. Cleanliness was generally ok, showers could use a good bleaching and toothbrush scrub as there was soap scum buildup in the corners and around the edges.

We stay here often as it is very budget friendly. Staff are always pleasant and the location is very handy. It has a good amount of space for families in the 2 bedroom apartments. As well as the small playground area too. We do book the refurbished apartment as the normal ones are quite tired but functional.

Juat a little maintenance.

Older style premises needing a little work but the rooms were well presented. Large lounge and dining area with servery to kitchen . Bedroom with plenty of storage and excellent comfortable bed. Bathroom was very large, twice the size of most bathrooms. Staff at booking in were very efficient and pleasant.

The iron in our room wasn’t working properly, it look liked something had been burnt onto the face so we didn’t use it. Not a major, just worth replacing

I liked everything.

I stayed in a refurbished 2 bedroom apartment. It was spacious, clean well equipped and modern. The beds were comfortable. The apartment was warm and clean.

The property is dated with high ceilings. There were some very established cobwebs in our apartment, they were very high and were the only downside of the apartment.

Location was great and the size of the apartment was great. Off Street parking was a bonus. Staff were very helpful.

So much room in the family apartments and we had friends in the next unit and it worked great. The rooms aren't modern but the bathroom is and that's a major bonus in my books. Fully stocked kitchen too which is important when you've got a few kids. Great price

TV a bit small and couldn't connect HDMI cable to view computer on TV.
