A 5 minute walk from the main Bus Stop. Across the street from restaurants and sightseeing agencies. A large, clean, comfortable studio. A patio with seating right outside.

The motel is in the very centre of the village, just next to the restaurant, helidrive tours, etc. The rooms are spacious. The view from the room is of the parking, but you don't come to Fox Glacier to stay inside. Overall, a good value for the price.

Room facilities are relatively basic.

The room is large enough to be comfortable, amenities are rather basic. Bathroom and bedroom areas were clean. location is good for accessing local bars/restaurants within easy walking distance. Plenty of parking.

While the bed was clean, you can tell that not much care was put in to the rest of the space. The bathroom touch-points were okay, but the walls and tiles are obviously long overdue for a deep clean. The kitchenette has an odd collection of mis-matched pieces that seem to rely on the previous occupants to have done the right thing and cleaned them. The couch is not as uncomfortable as people have said, but it is in need of replacement. Bottom line, it feels like a cheap motel, but it is one.

The location was convenient for our trip, suspect the views would have been amazing had we been there during the day. Bed was very comfortable and linen & towels were fresh and clean. The motel is minutes away from everything in town, because town is about 50m long. Check-in after hours was efficient (a sign was in reception window with our name & room number on it) Parking right outside the room. Garden in the back also looked nice. Shower was hot, toilet was clean, all the power-points worked. Pretty sure our unit also had new carpet, which felt nice underfoot. Room itself was also huge. I'd say it was perfect for our use, one night, a place to sleep and not much else, and was priced as such.

The motel suited what we needed for our stay. The only addition could have been better tv as it was raining the night we stayed there and there is very little to do in the town at nighttime.

The bed was very comfortable and the room large. The tv channels were minimal and we could only really get tv1 & 2. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Internet was free and worked well. The motel was ideally situated as you could walk to all amenities in Fox Glacier.

Modern, clean accommodation. Offering all we needed including a nice outdoor area with table & chairs, overlooking the mountains. A short walk to the local hotel & cafes. A great spot. Recommended.

There was a miscommunication with the office. We asked to come a day early thinking it would be the same price, but we were charged more for the first night than for the second (mid-week). We also lost our king room as we wanted to come a day early and stay in the same room both nights. The management wasn’t very accommodating.

The location was convenient as the objects of our interest (two viewpoints of Fox glacier, lake Matheson and Gillespies beach) were in a proximity. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was available in several places next door.

The lounge cover and bedspread were old and worn. Let the overall quality of the room down. No AC. Overall though would definitely stay again. Manager was Lovely.
