The hedge obscured the view

We didn't have any breakfast offered, did we miss this. Location was great but we do suggest trimming the hedge a bit so you can actually see the sea view fomr the spa.

Parking was tricky but manageable and they were onsite to help.

Great view, quiet, hosts were true professionals. Everything you needed was supplied. Fruit, champagne, homemade cookies. Hot tub was excellent as well

The decor isn't our taste, but with the lights off, who cares! The driveway and parking is a bit tricky but the view you enjoy makes it all worthwhile.

Peter and Katelina couldn't be friendlier. The room had everything we needed, a very comfortable bed, and plenty of room for luggage. I very nice sized bathroom as well. We enjoyed the short (but hilly!) walk back and forth from the main part of Paihia. The best part was the little thoughtful touches - fruit when we arrived, drinks in the fridge and fresh cookies! Those got us through a few hikes!

Nothing to say here because Tarlton Lodge was delightful, with a touch of luxury. I didn't use the hot tub, so that just might be rectified with another visit.😁

Welcoming and helpful owner. Lovely facilities- huge shower, comfy bed and a fabulous view. And the complimentary biscuits and decent coffee were wonderful treats.

If you don’t like firm mattresses, you might find the bed a bit hard.

Wonderful hosts; great views; very quiet; spa was fantastic; good use of outdoor patio with table etc.; extras including fruit bowl, cookies and chocolates.

The hill getting up is tough going if you’re walking, definitely need a car!

The walk uphill back from town….but it just made the spa more rewarding, so really, no complaints !

Visited on some rainy weather weekend so didn’t get to experience the ocean view so will definately need to go back another clear day/night.

So amazing! I definately will be returning. The hosts were so lovely!! and the room came with everything you could possibly need for a night or so away. I have stayed many places in paihia and this one wins it is the only one i have found with your own personal spa right outside your room.

Wonderful hosts welcomed us to our own private oasis, overlooking the water and with a beautifully serene spa to use. Comfortable bed and furnishings and thoughtful touches like refrigerated water and cookies made our stay extra special.

No issues or concerns at all.

Everything was absolutely perfect, the view from our room was beautiful 😍. It was very peaceful and private. Our hosts will be seeing us again for sure. 10/10 ratings.
