Actually, an easy walk down to the harbor for dinner, so nothing out of the ordinary.

There isn't a better view of the harbor and sunset. It is the premiere feature of this stay. Great deck to hang out and write, paint, drink, think, or just experience various sunsets that change nightly.

The only tiny niggle was that the towel rail wasn’t on very much so we struggled to dry towels etc.

The view is wonderful, and the accommodation is very comfortable, with the added bonus of a hot tub.

Because we arrived by public transport we did not have a satnav and it was a bit hard to find the address initially, but total strangers helped us, and thereafter its location was fine.

The views from the terraced garden of the cabin were superb, especially at dusk. The garden itself was delightful with well made steps and handrail etc. Very private and romantic! The walk into town for the market etc was interesting and gave one a sense of the true place. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Friendly neighbourhood. Lovely birdsong from very well stocked garden. Very good breakfast which was always replenished. Not too far to walk to lovely sandy beach and very good fish and chips from small shopping parade. We hired bikes for a day and cycled around the bay to Rabbit Island with transport provided by bike hire company back - amazing cycle with birdlife etc. We arrived and left by coach which was reliable and comfortable. External bathroom facilities very good. Cabin was cozy, and well equipped but we only slept in it cos of time of year, lovely weather and daytime exploring.

A beautiful house on the hill with a great view of Tasmania Bay. Wake up in the morning and look out at the bay as you drink your coffee. Very comfortable bed with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at this unique cabin. Such a brilliant location with the most special view (even when we had a bit of rain on our final morning) and incredible surroundings. Photos really cannot do this place justice - it’s just beautiful and the little patio area is perfect for enjoying some outside time in this part of the world. This cabin offers a really unique and cosy stay, and we would definitely recommend. Having spent five weeks travelling around NZ and staying in many different types of accommodation, this was the standout! We could not have asked for better or more friendly hosts either - thank you so much David and Sandy, especially for all your tips while in the area!

An availability of a few pieces of supplemental disposable rubbish bags in the room would be a great addition to consider so that the guests could change the rubbish bin themselves when it becomes full

Scenic balcony/patio, firm and comfortable bed, wooden floor, amazing design of the room interiors and bathroom, availability of a fan heater, complete provision of toiletries, cool spa pool, close to town centre -- overall pleasant stay. Thanks David and Sandy.
