Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Booked out fast haha
-Staff were very accommodating and kind -We got 2 key cards to access our room one to leave in our car incase we lose or misplace the other which most places don’t have.⭐️ -Everything felt so clean and new the room smelt so nice and fresh -TV had Netflix and other channels -Well setup room had everything we needed including an amazing kitchenette 🤩 -Bathroom was very spacious and body wash, shampoo and conditioner smelt really nice. -Modern and comfortable would definitely book here again 😊

Beds too hard.
New, clean, beautiful bathroom and toiletries. Ample free parking. Accommodating owners (asked for top floor - no problem). Good heating and sun in the morning.

It's a little noisy with the room above us, I could hear them on the toilet and in the shower. I didn't love having to lug my suitcases up the stairs, although only 1 set of stairs so not too bad. Couldn't have the blinds open without being able to see into the neighbouring properties. Perspex lid on the shower is a bit weird, but I assume it's to do with steam and condensation. The kettle is tiny, but the coffee cups are huge had to boil it twice for two teas 😆
The room was spacious and modern. Really clean. The soaps and shampoos smelt so good! Bit of a weird location, but we picked it because it was walking distance to pick up our car. Big TV to watch Netflix, comfortable beds and good pillows. Property is only 2ish years old so in really good condition.

Did not see staff apart from when I sought them out myself to say thank you. Would have been nice to see some staff onsite during our stay.
Brand new room with all new furniture and bedding. The room was so warm and cosy. The shower was exceptional with amazing water pressure, and the beds were so comfortable.

The bed is a bit hard compared to my home bed, but clean and comfortable. Staff were very accommodating when I asked for an extra blanket.
I had an amazing stay, the location was great with really good parking. Large room with kitchenette. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I arrived a little earlier and they managed to check me in. It was very quiet. Beautiful view of sunrise.

Nice clean new property, the location was perfect so close to Sylvia park and close to stadium. My daughter lost her wallet and our hotel cards were in it they were amazing and helped us out for when we arrived back new cards were issued. Lovely customer service will be staying again.

Clean and tidy, loved the shower! Over head showers are my favourite. Pressure was perfect and the temperature too. Warm room with aircon which is perfect during the winter.

The bathroom vanity handbasin is too high. They vanity could have been lowered during the build, so it wouldn't be so high, too late now.
Lovely welcoming, extras, gluten- free macadamia biscuits! The room was warm and cozy with plenty of storage. A tv with multiple viewing options. A heat pump, hair drier, and a clothes iron, too! Uncover parking made it easy to drive in the morning with lovely clear windows.
