Very hard to find. No sign posting. No staff on the property. No sink in the kitchen and no dishes, cutlery. Had to get water and wash dishes in the bathroom.

The place was clean. Good bathrooms. Bed reasonably comfortable.

Clearer signage would help, especially when Google Maps gives directions to the rear of the property (where small cars park). Took some time to realise the entrance on the other side of the building (yes, this is mentioned in the messages). A small sign at the doors of the car park would help upon arriving, so you don't have to drive needlessly around the property. General cleanliness could be better, room quite dated. Bathrooms were good, however BOTH shower heads require repair as they become detached if using it at full strength, thus causing water to spray everywhere (I found the whole bathroom to be entirely wet when I went to use the bathroom for the first time). Tiny TV tucked in the ceiling corner, but I didn't make use of it. No desk space or chair inside the room, confined in using the bed for laptop duties. No room service (this is mentioned), so take care of your trash accordingly. Not really close to the town centre, so a car is a must. No internet access provided, though mobile reception is good. Not really value for money considering other accommodation options may be on par quality wise, but cheaper.

Simple accommodation with a comfortable double bed, heating, cooling fan and towels provided for all nights stays. Power outlet by the bed, just has to move the bed a little to access. Hanging closet and drawers, with small counter space provided with ample space to unpack the suitcase. Generally quiet throughout my stay while I was in my room. Good instructions provided via booking.com, just have to read them to make sure instructions are follows as it can be confusing on arrival. Provided codes are more than enough, no need to fancy apps (though they will recommend it). Spacious bathroom, with ample storage to hang clothing and towels, as well as enough toilet paper and hand towels for the entire unit. Good shower head, good pressure and temperatures. Good parking space close to the 'back entrance' of the room. Didn't use the kitchen space, but it looked more than adequate with the necessities.

no wifi, the host emailed the code for the entrance so if you didn't have internet on the phone, very very difficult to get inside the accommodation.

Bathroom nearly flooded as shower trap was built up with grime. Was very gross. Rubbish under the bed. Door handle fell off. Tv channels were fuzzy. Fan not good.

Rooms are a bit shabby,wall plugs were faulty,could do with abit of a paint and new bedding/draws also some aircon would have been great.

The guests down the hall partying all night long, walking around naked and letting off fireworks. Absolutely got zero sleep before a long drive home the next day. I don't think it's fair we had to pay so much for a place to sleep when we weren't able to sleep at all There also wasn't bath mats to put down after a shower

I liked the hotel but noisy guests stopped us from being able to sleep. I understand this wasn't the fault of the hotel but I feel like maybe somebody could be at the hotel for situations like this. We got absolutely no sleep which was the whole point of getting the hotel for the night after a long concert. In saying this, the hotel was very apologetic through messaging. Also I liked the pin numbers instead of room keys.

For being a truckers stop I knew that it was going to be basic and that was ok. There were a couple of things that needed attention and I have messaged the property on that. So hopefully they will sort it as I am not one to blast bad things publicly if they haven't had a chance to rectify. We were very dissapointed to have the diner closed on Saturday morning when it was advertised as being open. This was one of the reasons I chose to stay here. So our dinner and Breakfast were all at the same location.

Location. If you need to break up a trip it's the perfect spot. Great if you really want to save money on accomodation.

If you just want the basics and stay away from the hustle and bustle of Taupō, Stag Park Accom is where you should go. We shared the kitchen and bathrooms but you wouldn't think so. I enjoyed the peace and quiet.
