The place was modern and spotlessly clean. Ann had lots of extras, including three delicious breakfast choices, which she made. Good coffee, fruit and little chocolate treats. Ann was the perfect host and we definitely rate this as the best we've ever experienced.

The place is a great home away from home. Anne is a wonderful host. She provided a nice breakfast and was very willing to help with any other requirements. Due to my work, I was very delayed for checkout, but she didn't mind a bit.

We had a wonderful stay at Rate Roy and Ann’s Haven in New Zealand. Ann was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was very comfortable, with great attention to detail that made our stay extra special. Breakfast was absolutely amazing — delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommended!

The fact I couldn’t find a thing wrong - I can’t think of a anything!

The breakfasts we had each morning in the garden were amazing, and because of our jet lag we requested different times - Ann was so accommodating. The rooms are very modern with a clean European decor and modern fixtures: the place was immaculate. All the laundry and coffee facilities are there and modern. I would happily send my in-laws there who are very picky!

Amazing location, short walk to a restaurant and a lovely area of nz to stay in. Breakfast was great.

The location is very quiet and we had to drive 7 km to find a restaurant open for dinner on a Tuesday night. Also guests in adjacent bedroom had TV up so loud at night and early the next morning.

Great set up for guests with communal kitchenette providing tea and coffee, snacks, fruit. Delicious breakfast the host delivers to your room. The house is very new and clean.

Amazing place and one of the very best B&B we have ever stayed in. Great breakfast with option to choose from and all you would expect and need for your stay. We felt like at home there and everything was prepared in a way that it was clear that owners has spent a lot of time on travels and know exactly what people need on their explorations to enjoy it most. I would love to come back there again. Especially Uretiti beach was a place where we would love to stay forever :D

Trash cans are small at all the B&Bs we stayed at in NZ, compared with what we are used to in America. Only thing I can think of.

Ann was very nice and helpful, and a wonderful cook. We loved the breakfasts she made. She also puts fruit and chocolates out for her guests. And she let us use the laundry and fridge. Perfect! We absolutely would stay here again!!

Ann was extremely helpful. Provided great breakfast each morning. The room was very clean, modern and functional. Kitchen facility adjacent to room enabled us to prepare picnic lunches. Clothes washing facilities greatly appreciated. Highly recommend a stay with Ann & Roy. No a/c but high speed fan in room to keep cool. Bed was firm but comfortable for shorter stay.
