Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaWe were greeted at check‑in by Pepper, the adorable little dog and self‑appointed “customer liaison officer,” who instantly made us feel welcome and set the tone for a wonderful stay. The cabin itself was beautifully tranquil – tucked away among the vineyards, quiet and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and soaking in the hot tub under the stars was something really special. To top it off, Rose in the cellar door was fantastic – so warm and knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personal. Can’t wait to come back!

New ZealandThe wine pod was incredible, probably one of the most magical places we have ever stayed. The view from your super comfy bed looking through the vines during sunrise, sunset and the night skies was absolutely mind-blowing, super romantic. The silence, the deck and the hot tub completed the package. The tiny house is quite modern and it has everything you need if you decided to cook, the heat pump kept us nice and cozy on a very cold night! Great breakfast (including fresh eggs) supplied and the wine tasting was amazing (and free!). Pepper, the wine dog was the cutest.

AustraliaSaying goodbye...😫
Absolutely perfect for our overnight stay. Everything was so nice, beautifully decorated with every appliance you need. Lovely sunset with wine and a massive storm during the night was perfect for this cosy romantic spot. Breakfast supplied was very generous, with all local produce making it delicious. Waking up to a view of a Rainbow in the morning proves this place is a pot of gold

We were welcomed like old friends, treated like royalty, the staff are so good, making us feel special. Super wine tasting, fantastic winery and set up. The accommodation is fabulous, beautifully laid out, wonderful facilities: the bed, pillows and shower excellent. We enjoyed the pre ordered Steak dinner, meant for two but could feed four. Very generous. we barbecued, perfect outlook over the vinery, beautiful sunset and great hot tub. Heaven on earth.

The cabin is amazing. Everything has been thought through, there is a small kitchen with a double stove to prepare food and even some breakfast prepared for the next day. The surroundings are a dream and we had the whole area to ourselves in the evening/during the night. The owners put so much thought into preparing everything (bread from a local bakery, small gestures like the carefully selected bathroom products, coffee and tea from local shops) and gave us the warmest welcome. The hotpot is just the cherry on top.

FinlandAbsolutely zero complaints!
An exceptional experience all in all! The wine pod was well equipped and very comfortable, Kirk and the other staff were really friendly and hospitable, and the wines were among the best we've had on our entire trip! And probably the best part was meeting Pepper the wine dog in the morning 😊 We would've loved to stay longer, and we'll definitely be back if we're ever in the region again.

United KingdomSurprised you had to pay extra for breakfast orange juice
The alsolute quietness of the location, the only sounds being natural. The lovely location and views from the deck (and bath tub). The pod is small but ideal for a short stay and comfortably kitted out. The tub is a wonderful addition and filled quickly and easily. I also loved that they providdd the prove ace of the breakfast materials, where they had been sourced locally.

ItalyThe pod is a little bit tiny but it is still a must visit option.
The hot tub in the vineyard is priceless. Sheep all around. We were lucky to be invited to see the Shepard and his dogs in action. Great experience. Completely alone during the night. They provide you with their wine (excellent but obviously at payment) and with a good breakfast. You can have wine tasting during the opening hour. Very romantic place.

New ZealandWe loved everything about it
Being in the middle of the vineyard was special. Waking up to the moon going down with the sun rising on the hills was magical for us. It was like looking at a painting each morning. The pod is amazing, small, cozy and stylish with great heating and superb water pressure. We had the perfect combination of food for breakfast left in the pod for us . Our host was gracious at the wine tasting, welcoming and knowledgeable and shared stories about the vineyard. Having a hot tub outside was definitely inspired. We shared the George Road Syrah in the tub watching the sun go down. - perfection
