Cabin was smaller than anticipated so was the tea/coffee facilities. Every time a truck went past the whole cabin shook waking us up. It was closer to the bypass than we realised. Didn't see any staff.

The bed was comfortable, the cabin we stayed in was clean, tidy and warm.

That the property doesn’t have full time staff and that everything is done by code & lock box. The shower in the room we booked, the water went everywhere even over the toilet.

The coffee cups were put away dirty, so had to clean before using, hadn’t been checked by staff servicing the room, the shower was awesome pressure but holy water went everywhere, tried to contain it best as possible, when you turned the bathroom light off the extractor fan didn’t turn off

The blanket was not thick enough for a 6 degree night. The toilet paper was very budget and I feel it is a simple upgrade that just makes things nicer. I couldn't get the heat pump put on for our late arrival as it was an electric heater so couldn't be left unmanned and with a 3 yo is not ideal. Could have had a small milk rather than tiny cups.Overall doable for a quick stay but price wise would say should be $100 /night based on other accommodation experiences

Convenient and simple check in and out process. Good to have bathroom ensuite as part of room stay. Convenient and sufficient kitchenette.

Having more kitchen utensils (pots and pans) available in the common kitchen for large families.

It is ideally located next to the Water Taxi, at the entrance of Abel Tasman track. The rooms are simple but well equipped, however note that the kitchen utensils are a bit limited for cooking with large families. Common facilities like kitchen and bathroom are quite clean, and even though the showers are limited to 4 minutes, the water is nice and hot.

The room wasn't as described. As per my photo, it stated that the chalet would have a spa bath and washing machine. It has neither. The spa pools were by the pool but not working. The trampoline had been removed. For the cost of the chalet, it was very disappointing.

The location was handy. The pool was great for the kids.

Beds weren’t hugely comfortable, and the shower head didn’t put out a lot of water.

It was relatively easy to check in and find our accommodation. It wasn’t far away from town, the supermarket etc so that was great! The swimming pool was awesome, as well as the shared kitchen facilities. We liked having our own kitchen/fridge in our own cabin too.

Shared ablution block not clean. Skirting boards, shower gully trap dirty, so dirty. Water on floor around toilet appeared unattended to, although this could have been awaiting attention. Hand drier not working, or I could not get it to work. One of the soap dispensers on wall empty, but then it may have been on purpose empty - take it down then. A dog barking constantly in the camp area was a tad annoying for a non dog owner. To be expected???

Upgrade to another type of accommodation when lack of electricity in booked accommodation could not be fixed that night. Upgrade resolved amicably and efficiently by owner.
