The old rundown venue and People have cooked food in the building using strong aromatic spices despite warnings not to do that. The odour was overwhelming and I could smell it in my clothing the next day.

The whole venue is run down. It does not reflect the kindness of the staff, who are short of revenue to upgrade.

The facilities themselves need ALOT of work. The strong smell of curry was evident in the hallway leading to our room, at least we couldn't smell it once we closed our door. We couldn't get the heater to work.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Good closet space, bathroom was of a good size.

Location Fine. Friendly lady who was great in getting me to the room. The room was all I needed. Helped me park my motorbike at the back. Its a little run down but it was good value for the money. The food was also good value

Inadequate crockery and cutlery for two people. The only fork was covered in greece. It wasn't really a motel. There was no parking outside the unit. Apologies for poor review. Hope note is taken, and improvements can be made.

It's not somewhere that we would normally stay - but it was close to the Waiouru base where we were visiting our son - it was a comfy space to lay our heads and very reasonably priced so I can't complain.

The host was choice as! We didn't arrive till just before 10pm yet he was cool as! No attitude - not upset! I really appreciated that! I liked that it was quite 'homely' too. Thank you for the space to just chill!

The facility was poor and uninviting. The entrance was unattended, shabby and unfinished. You have to go to the adjoining Bar to get the key, and my booking had been passed on the staff. The room was adequate but poorly finished. The heater was inadequate for the cold night and the advice to turn the hot tap on "10 minutes" before use was discouraging.

Location was ideal. Bed sheets clean and bathroom recently refurbished.

I would say probably just a fridge missing

Staff were amazing, it was my baby and myself travelling and I had so much bags but the staff literally carried them all in for while I just had my baby. Rooms were amazing and bathroom was spacious with amazing water pressure. Heater kept room warm all night.

We arrived to find a scruffy grimey location with a broken window and torn curtains. Despite arriving at our check-in time in mid afternoon the door to reception was locked. A sign advised to check in at "the Bar" next door. It was also closed. No-one answered the phone. We left and found other accomodation. No refund given. Seems like a scam to me

The milk in room was old - best before date was 5 months ago and only looked at the date after making a hot drink and it turned to clumps in the coffee.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed - we both slept well. Surprisingly quiet considering it's on State Highway 1 - we didn't hear much traffic noise. Good free wifi. good value. While the property could do with a paint job to freshen up - it didn't worry us as the property was clean and comfortable.
