Very comfortable bed, clean room, and friendly hosts. Lovely view. Very quiet. The location could never been better!! Excellent place to stay. Mike and Jenny were very kind.

Overall all good. Possibly the owners could check the bathroom plumbing because on an occasion some musty smell could be detected. Nothing persistent. Good that with the door to the bathroom closed and a small opening window in the toilet, it didn't spread.

Very spacious quiet accommodation on a residential street with a fabulous view to the ocean, beach, and rocks. Separate entrance to the suite. Warm welcome from the hosts. Very close to Kaka's restaurants, shops, down an alleyway. Start of walking trails withing walking distance. Thanks for a lovely stay

It was super chilly outside so we were stoked to be so cosy inside.

The bed was comfy the shower was a funky design we felt right at home. Our dog nala was so comfy and welcome too

You can get a bit of noise from upstairs, which is normal in NZ houses. Please note the owner lives upstairs.

Slight walk to the front of the property then few steps down to front door. Not an issue really a problem. Hosts get up very early in the morning to go to work. They are generally very quiet but still hear them if niot deep asleep. Otherwise they are really quiet and amazing to be hosted by.

Awesone place to stay, hosts are lovely and genuine kiwi people. Big room, very clean. Comfy and warm queen size bed. Great kitchen facilities including induction cooktop, microwave, electric frying pan, rice cooker, toastie machine and coffee pod machine. Good size fridge with freezer.. Great view of the ocean. Blackout curtains keeps room really dark. Great water pressure in the shower. Off street parking. Private steps down to the beach/ main road/ cafe. Big TV screen.

Only blip was I couldn't get a TV signal from the system - as likely to be the operator as the system! 30 seconds of my life I won't get back. Didn't miss it. Watched the nature channel outside instead for 10 minutes.

Excellent presentation. Ideal location for area. Lovely view. Two minute walk from restaurant. Charming, friendly welcoming hosts. Bed was super comfy (hence slept in).

We were met with a warm welcome by Jenny and shown to Unit 1, a spacious, warm room with fabulous views across the lawn and cabbage tree to the sea. The room was clean and everything you needed was provided. We had a wonderful sleep in the comfortable bed, it’s a dark room and so quiet. Will definitely be recommending to my guests.

It is a cosy room with a stunning view. There are stairs from the garden which lead straight to the beach and/ or the only restaurant in the village. The bed is comfortable; the bathroom has a heating system, and the kitchenette corner is well organised, although relatively small. There is no sink, so I wouldn't advise eating strong-smelling things inside.

One street back from the beach with their personal access to the shore. My balcony gave me a view of the ocean and an incredible sunrise. The room was modernly decorated, great shower. Had a wonderful chat with Mike about the area. Highly recommend.
