Everything… the apartment had all you would need, fully equipped kitchen, great little living area, comfortable bed and a balcony looking out to the harbour. Great shower and fluffy towels.

Cleanliness of lounge furniture with marks on sofa and also carpet stains were a bit disappointing but cleanliness otherwise was very good.

Location was great in the middle of CBD with a nice view of the adjacent park and could walk everywhere easily and room facilities were everything we needed. The heated swimming pool was a good size with spa and sauna an added bonus, as was the well equipped gym. Reception staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help.

Brighter lights in the Bathrom- a bit low lumen The Nespresso machine delivered only luke warm coffee- needed heating in the microwave every time The Chromecast would not work for me- bit of a pain as wanted to watch some things on larger screen- not on my tablet.

I had some confusion with where to go to check in, as I did not recognise at first that the reception for the hotel was on Kitchener street instead of underneath the main tower. An automated message from the hotel after booking to make that clear would have been appreciated. I used the hotel lobby stairs to go out to the area behind the restaurants on the ground floor but when I tried to re-enter that way later my card did not open the door, unsure if it was after hours (it was around 9pm) or I was always meant to go via reception, but it would have been nice to have a more direct 24h option rather than walking up to Kitchener Street.

Great central location, although it is a short walk from transport links, and on-site carparking costs extra (though is not as unreasonable a price as other central hotels). But if you do not mind a bit of a walk or will be being dropped off at reception, it is very much worth it for being close to so many amenities. Albert Park is a short walk up the steps, High Street and nearby Vulcan Lane has many eating options, and there are convenience stores nearby for supplies, or the metro supermarkets just a bit further. The room was large and comfortable, and the view was stunning (I was on the 28th floor with the harbour view booking option).

I have stayed here many, many times before, but was slightly disappointed this time as it took a very long time to get hot water to our room in the morning, we found a notable amount of mold in the shower, and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom wasn't secure so the roll kept falling off.

This is my favourite hotel to stay at in the Auckland CBD. It's a great location next to Albert Park and Chancery Square within walking distance to lots of restaurants. Whether I'm just with my husband or we have our kids with us, the indoor pool, spa pool and sauna with views of the Sky Tower really make this place for us. Almost all the rooms have amazing views and some with balconies, as well as kitchenettes. It's always one of the more affordable options too.

Loved our stay at avani. Had everything we needed in our room! Toiletries, washing machine dryer, cutlery towels literally everything which was so good very family friendly! The views from the balcony rooms are top tier also loved the pool, it’s deep for kids though but lucky we bought floaties. The staff were amazing deffs coming back again🥰
