Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location was perfect for where we needed to be the next day. The welcome staff Renee (not sure whether this is spelt correctly) was great. The setting was beautiful, the room was very comfortable. The heat pump was very much welcomed.

Nothing to complain about at all
We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge and will be back for sure. We had family from overseas and they were loving each moment of it. Rangi was an amazing host and such a lovely lady, shared her wealth of knowledge of the area and interacted with us in such a friendly way it made us feel super welcome each day. She went above and beyond.

Shower is quite small but wouldn’t deter us from staying again
Staff were very friendly and helpful, beautiful surroundings and good sized accommodation. Free wifi worked perfectly and easily connect to the tv to watch Netflix etc. Amenities available to do your own cooking which is great

well to be honest I just didn't like the pillows , first world issues. Can't say anymore than that really it was a lovely stay.
Location was great for us, very quiet and clean. Owners are just lovely people. We had joining rooms for 3 of us, that just made it . Owners were really easy going and with room cleaning or room make ups , they were really flexible and let us say when and if needed.

In the bathroom we had a shower but when the shower was in use instead of the water running down the drain it pretty much wet the whole bath and water covered the floor as it didn't really drain much.
The location was great very quiet.It was a short drive away from the town. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming. The room we had was a studio which came with its own mini kitchen Ideal if you have a family. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable.

Couldn't really use the balcony as rain before we arrived saturated the artificial grass. Probably better off without it so the balcony can be used.
Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Kitchen was well set up. Close to town and walking distance to eateries. Easy to get to ferries etc. Staff very accommodating.

Thin walls - could hear the guy in room next door, coughing all night. Maybe not have beds on common wall?

Beautiful room comfy bed and the spa was great. Love that we were close to town but it was so peaceful and quiet. Loved waking up to the sound of some native birds and the staff were amazing. Thank you Rangi we will always book here when we are in Kerikeri.
