Everything was perfect; I couldn't find any faults.

We had such a lovely, relaxing stay surrounded by the forest, waking up to the cheerful sounds of birds. Everything was perfect; The host was very friendly and helpful, giving us good tips on where to go and where to eat.

Nestled in greenery and nice and quiet. Great facilities like the shared kitchen area. The driving creek railway and pottery studio is literally across the road! A must see. Hugh is an absolute legend. Helpful, funny in a deadpan way and clearly passionate about the local area - made the stay :)

Service was amazing. Brought us Easter chocolates and washed our laundry for us. There was a whole kitchen with all supplies to cook dinner with a heated dining area.

It was the best hostel we have ever stayed in and the kids were super excited and satisfied, making it our best memory. The hosts are very nice, kind and welcoming, the rooms are cozy, the windows are full of silver ferns when you push them open, and living in the bushes is so beautiful even when it rains!

The forest cabins at Hush Boutique were private, comfortable and spotless. The bathroom was bigger than expected. Excellent WIFI. The communal kitchen facility was amazing and we used it for two meals each day. Great way to meet fellow lodgers. The host was friendly and informative. We had a great visit to the Driving Creek Railway and Pottery Shop which were located across the roadway. A unique place to stay while exploring the Coromandel area.

A microwave In the room would have been useful.

An unusual, but charming, accommodation. The Potters Studio, where we stayed during our second visit in 12 months, is small but comfortable. The host, Hugh, is very friendly and helpful

WiFi was unreliable. The Hideaway cabin was pretty small but had just enough room.

Lovely rainforest setting. Driving distance from town but it made up for that by being very quiet and peaceful. Super helpful staff. Large well equipped communal kitchen.

Hugh was wonderful! He gave us all kinds of great recommendations on what to see and do. Loved chatting with him. The suite was soo nice - cute, very private, really spotless. Makes good use of the outdoor space as well. Feels as though you are spending time in the forest. One of our nicest spots to stay - Highly recommend it!

There was nothing i didn't like

It was very beautiful and serene, and the room was immaculate. Set in a little hideaway bush with creeks and birds and varieties of trees. It's very romantic 😍 and we can't wait to go back!

The rooms are a bit small

Super atmospheric place, absolutely clean and well maintained despite the forest setting. Very friendly and helpfull owner. The communal kitchen was amazing. Really worth staying for a few days.

A very well cared for and comfortable place. It had a properly stocked kitchen that was a great hub for meeting people from all over the world. I appreciated the unique personality of Hughs vision. The quiet, the garden, and the location make Hush a special place.

We stayed at Hush boutique over the new year and it was the most enjoyable experience there! Hugh was kind and amazing, gave us so much information on where to go/what’s on in the area and we had great convos with him. The room and grounds was spotless and it was a magical time! We were even organising our next new years at Hush during our holiday which we will aim for! Highly recommend :))

Pillows are too much stuffed and uncomfortable

Hush Boutique Accomodation is located a bit outside of Coromandel Town. We had the Potter Studio which has a nice bedroom overlooking the garden. It was quiet and relaxing. Hugh is a really nice host and gives you good tips what to do around Coromandel.

Rooms and outdoor areas very clean and well kept. Lovely big kitchen with everything you could need, we throughly enjoyed our relaxing stay
