Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIt was exactly what we needed for a night's stopover, the room was clean and spacious so no overall complaints.
We stopped off in Haast for a night after driving from Queenstown and enjoyed our stay at the Heartland Hotel. Check-in and out was very efficient, there was parking directly outside the room and the room itself was very spacious. Our room had a double and single bed so was perfect for us but could suit small groups or families. There was a kettle, cups and provided assortment of teas, hairdryer and ironing board in the room. The bathroom was great, the shower had good water pressure and hot water and there were toiletries provided. As a small bonus, we also appreciated that there was a door leading directly outside to the car as well as a door leading into the corridor, as it made unloading the car much easier.

New ZealandDated decor, felt quite old and worn, didn't much like the layout, or the lack of a shared seating area in the 3 bedroom unit we had. No kitchen facilities apart from a kettle. Can't help but feeling it was very overpriced for what it was. The Hard Antler is a great place to pick up a feed in Haast btw.
The beds were comfortable, we all slept well.
