We are sports fans so we would have liked it if we could stream our phone to the tv so we could watch sky go but this wouldn't stop us from going back

Loved the facilities, hosts were amazing so friendly exactly what you want. Very keen to go back in the warmer months and make the most of the pool

I didn’t like that the sauna wasn’t working but once they fix that it’s the perfect place to stay ☺️

The location - beautiful. The facilities perfect! Sauna, spa and cold water pool is perfect recovery facilities for those who CrossFit or do weightlifting. Breakfast and company amazing! Such a kind and friendly family… beautiful atmosphere and we will come back to visit with the rest of the family ☺️

Lack of near- by food outlets when you don't have a car. Perhaps something in advertising material would be helpful.

Nothing. Be aware Wellington is hilly so most properties will have a drive up or down.

The rooms lounge absolutely stunning views with the extra of the pool and hot tub. Chris and Lou perfect hosts.

Water pressure in shower was too strong and we could not control it thus wetting the floor- maybe needs a curtain

Didn't like that I had to leave so early. Its just wonderfull

The owners are very friendly and welcomed us like old m8s. Had breakfast with them and had an enjoyable conversation. We arrived 4 hours early and we asked if we could leave our luggage there while we explored not only was that not a problem they gave us our key and said make yourself at home now if you like. My wife and I highly recommend staying here.

We loved Harbour Lodge. The personal friendly service with a beautiful view from every room was fantastic. Our hosts were helpful each morning at breakfast with tips and recommendations. Thanks again!

Lou and Chris were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. We were very welcome and loved staying here. The room was fantastic with lovely views of the valley and towards the coast. We had a great continental breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit. We highly recommend Harbour Lodge.

Loved the heated floor in the bathroom, breakfast, the comfy bed, the view, the shared guest lounge area. The pool and spa looked great but didn’t get a chance to use those. The hosts were lovely. Would have liked to stay longer than 2 days.

Absolutely loved our time at this fantastic B&B in beautiful Wellington. It's located on a quiet hillside overlooking from where the Picton ferry sails from. Our room was extremely comfortable, cosy and well equipped with a lovely bathroom, which included a fabulous bath. Lou and Chris, the hosts, are a lovely couple who could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had a delicious healthy breakfast each day of our stay, and enjoyed chatting to Lou & Chris over a cup of tea. This is a brilliant place to stay if you're going to catch the ferry to the South Island as it's only a short drive from here. Wellington is a fabulous city and you'll be pushed to find a better place to stay than Harbour Lodge. Highly recommended !

Negatives? Maybe the Winter, although it was still quite pleasant!

I have lived in and visited Mainland USA, Hawaii, Australia, Pacific islands, New Zealand and Japan and stayed in many hotels. Firstly, Wellington Lodge owners, Chris and Lou, were nice and friendly. They both have traveled to many countries and experienced different peoples, cultures and sites. Secondly, the place is beautiful and clean and is situated in a beautiful setting with gorgeous panoramic views of the Wellington harbor and hills and surroundings. Thirdly, it was winter and the rooms have heating and surprisingly, the bathroom floors are heated! How COOL is that! 🙃 There is free parking on the premises and breakfast is served each morning! We would love to visit again from Japan. The owners, Chris and Lou and Harbour Lodge get a 100/100!

Only thing was that the pool appeared to be out of commission. Otherwise there was no other issues that I was aware of. It would be unfair to say that anything else was a case of "not liking". So there!!!

The breakfast was exceptional - very tasty & great company with the host joining us. The spa was brilliant with a beautiful outlook. The heated bathroom floor was a bonus as well. Felt like that we had the whole area to ourselves.

Very nice view. The owner is a very friendly, very comfortable bed. The place is quiet, I slept very well. Only a bit of a challenge driving up and down the hill on a narrow road.
