The view was outstanding. The room was very clean and the bed was great, felt very homely. Jill and Dave were outstanding hosts, I would ceratinly stay there again and recommend this to my friends. The breakfast was all laid out in the morning and you just helped yourself and had a great view to look at while doing so. 10/10.

The staff were friendly. We loved that native birds were around the property, even saw a tui from my room window. It was nice having breakfast the following morning, and the option for a late checkout was an added bonus. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again; thank you.

The location is stunning with the best views in town, peaceful gardens where the Bluebells sing outside your door; lovely room, super comfortable bed, plentiful breakfast and friendly hosts. Jill and Dave were lovely hosts. So friendly and helpful with sights. The hot springs were within a nice walk as were most restaurants. The view was amazing!! The room was super comfortable. The bird in their garden were the highlight-wonderful bird song evening and morning!!

Rooms were slightly smaller than we have been used to on our travels so difficult with 2 large suitcases. But this was only a minor detail.

Absolutely beautiful property with views of Hanmer and the mountains which were stunning. Property up a hill but not far from town. The gardens are beautiful too . The owners were very kind and gave us lots of tips of what to do. Would loved to have stayed longer. ( very comfortable beds as well) Late check out was also a bonus.

Jill and Dave and their pooch Izzy are excellent hosts. Their boutique accommodation is immaculately presented, with luxuriously comfortable beds and a spectacular view. Waking to bird song in their beautiful garden was an added delight.

Wonderful! Comfortable room with glorious views over Hanmer Springs. Made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped inside. Great advice on where to walk - the 30 minute walk up Conical Hill is worth it for the views. Given towels for the pools which were so relaxing! Also loved watching the birds feed below our room.

The hosts are dedicated to making your stay comfortable with little extras like cold drinking water in the room and milk in the refrigerator for your tea. They provided extra towels when traveling to the local thermal pools. They also provided bikes to ride into town (complimentary). The location actually connects with the Conical Hill hiking trail that gives wonderful vistas of the surrounding area. The lodge is beautifully landscaped and private with outdoor seating spaces in a garden setting. Our deck space outside our room was comfortable and provided a beautiful view of Hanmer Springs and the surrounding mountains. This was a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay for one night or for a week!
