Nothing to dislike

Everything Amazing view of snow capped mountains. Beautifully done up house self contained with all the necessary stuff for daily needs. They were very courteous enough to allocate us the villa number 4 according to me the best villa with surreal view and huge lawn outside with spacious parking to settle your luggage nicely. Words would fall short to describe the Beauty of this property.

The WiFi was available but not suitable for streaming content - the TV wouldn't even connect to Netflix it was so poor. I now understand why there are DVD's available at reception....

We were given a room with amazing views of the mountains. The facilities in the room were basic but great for what we needed. Plenty of space and the essential equipment available for cooking.

Only sorry it was pouring with rain and couldn't make use of the outdoor area.

Excellent property with kitchen, superb living area and outdoor space for sitting and BBQ. Separate bedroom and en suit bathroom. Beautifully kept, clean and everything to the highest standard. Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Glenfern Villas provided an excellent base for our stay in Franz Josef, despite being located slightly outside the main centre. We were warmly met by a friendly receptionist, and this team continued to be very helpful to us throughout our stay. We had a two-bedroom villa, with the most amazing view overlooking the Franz Josef Glacier. We loved the glass of wine at the little terrace, and the indoor seating area later at night. We found the villa very clean and very comfortable, it had all what we needed for our two-night stay. In hindsight, and as there is so much to do in this area, we wish had stayed a few more days here ....

Not in the middle of town so need to drive there and back. Laundry facilities are available but not in each unit.

The place could use some updates but it was still comfortable and our stay was pleasant.

Everything was very clean and quiet. There was a lot of space also. We weren't there long enough to use the outdoor space but the little deck looked nice and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at Glenfern. Staff were very friendly, villa was very clean and we absolutely loved the view from our verandah - great for drinks in the afternoon. Kids (and adults!) loved saying hi to the friendly animals.

We were'nt there long enough to find anything we didn't like but maybe one of those refillable squeeze dispensers on the shower wall for body wash and shampoo as there was nowhere to place the paper sachets and they are annoying for everyone. The dispensers are in most hotels etc in Europe and providing they are filled they are an easy solution. I am only writing this for the owners to see as there was Nothing not to like. It was all just perfect.

Everything was clean and well appointed. The bathroom spacious. The bed and pillows generous. Nothing to not like.
