Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandCheck in was a little tricky with having upgrading our room before we got there & they did not get notification of the upgrade & front desk receptionist could have been a bit friendlier.
Location & facilities were very good & nice size room, the restaurant staff were wonderful & very helpful & friendly. Wonderful food both dinner & breakfast, highly recommend the restaurant. Loved the character of the old hotel.

United KingdomThe hotel is in serious need of refurbishment. The corridors had worn carpets and smelled stuffy. Our original room (which we were moved from) had rotten window frames. Compared to what we've had elsewhere in NZ it was more expensive, but then this seems to be an expensive area.
Location was good right in the village centre. When we had an issue with our original room, the staff sorted it and upgraded us to a better room which was very nice. Plenty of parking.
