I love this place I could live there

Unfortunately we couldn't get in with the code we were give for the lockbox, but I contacted the host and they came immediately to sort the problem out for us, which was great. I was sleeping on a single bed which I found too hard for my liking, no complaints from my family, but other than that, it was super convenient

Loved the location, the hosts were accommodating to our slightly early arrival, the house was large, warm, spacious and comfortable and clean and well stocked. Beautiful spot by the sea and a bonus to have a car park with the accomodation.

There was a noise in the morning around 7am , I feel it was the neighbouring unit , when they had a shower or turned what on , a load noise of their water system.

Not a fan of the mediocre plunger coffee. Nowadays I would expect espresso for this level of accommodation. Not sufficient plugs in master bedroom. Could be cleaner - night table was dusty with ring marks. Not a huge deal but thought you'd want to know.

Loved the location and space of the appartment. It was super comfortable and had the added bonus of the pool table. Loved the beach towels. Loved waking up to tge roaring sound of the ocean.

Had minor panic about the tsunami warnings coming through from emergency services as wasn’t sure where the safe zone was. Might be good to add instructions on what to do if evacuation is. required.

Everything you need with a knockout view. Absolutely lovely. Very warm with wall panel heaters. Extra blankets and duvet which we didn't need, and throws for the couches. Heated towel rack. Warmth and comfort all around. Nice updated linens with a top sheet, which is becoming rarer and make-up face washer Extra. Thankyou Penny cheers Kelly

Could do with abit more heating in the rooms was a cold winters day. Heaters were turned up full but little heat came from them. . Apart from that everything else was excellent.

Such an ideal location. Right on the beach, plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Room was very warm when I arrived. Plenty of amenities, and nice and clean.

If I had to improve anything it would be the front Gate is a bit noisy if there was rubber over the latch it wouldn’t clang when guests arrive at the entrance.

Older style property, which may not be to everyone's taste, but the facilities, service, apartment size and location make up for this.

Great communication. Fantastic location. Property was large, with a good layout. Plenty of space for a family. Good range of facilities, including a dishwasher. Great being so close to the beach. Restaurants close by. Easy access to regular bus routes into the city.

The kitchen table (while cute!) was very teeny and hard to actually sit and eat a meal at.

We both found the bed too hard, we prefer a bed firm with a softer top. Everyone is different, I’m sure some people would find it just right!

I had a seaview apartment and found the proximity to a roaring ocean crashing on rocks all night disturbing. This, combined with light traffic right below the window and light from the street lights seeping in at the top of the blackout curtains meant three sleepless nights. Lesson learned. Will not book a seafront apartment in winter next time 🙂

Very clean apartments, right on the esplanade. Good dining options. Easy lockbox system to check in. Heating and lights were on for me when I arrived late, which was lovely. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable apartment so close to the waves you can hear them then this is the place for you.
