Cute little unit. Clean and tidy. Was good for our overnight stop before Milford Sound

Unfortunately when we arrived the unit had all the windows open and the heatpump hadn't been turned on even though it was 4 degrees outside. We had emailed ahead that we would be arriving late at night and had an infant on our booking. The self check in was all good but it was disappointing to arrive to a freezing cold room. More of a minor thing - In our unit there was 2 single beds in the living room - it would have been nice to have the trundler one packed away seen as it wasnt required for our party and we needed space for a portacot. Had there been staff on site we would have asked but we didnt want to bother someone to come all the way down just for one thing so we just made do with very limited space.

Great little renovated unit. Everything was simple and modern which was nice. Location close to the lakefront and shops. Beds were really comfy. Shower had good pressure. Overall we had a good stay and were happy with the room for the price.

There was no staff on duty the time we were there. Our envelope was cellotaped to the reception door with our name on it with instructions. Obviously short staffed.

A really nice motel unit wirh new modern kitchen and bathroom. Nice and close to the lake, just across the road.

On our arrival, the room provided to us was very disappointing.Luckily there was some problem with the payment and because of this, two of your lady staff come. After negotiating with them, they arranged two other rooms to our satisfaction. In general ok. Thank God!

We stayed in the "villa" - a two-bedroom house at the back of the motel property that was far too large for a couple, but one of the few remaining accommodations available. The house is a bit dated, but comfortable and very private. Ideal for two couples, or a small family -- there's a sofa bed in the living room so up to six people can easily stay there. The lakefront is just across the street from the front of the motel, and restaurants and shops are about a ten minute walk.

Nobody at the reception. A owner tell us, "labors shortage". But this was just a excuse. Because the period we stayed, job seeker straggled to find job in NZ. So when we wanted a new towel, we looked all over for a staff person in the property to ask it.

The room was clean and tidy. Livingroom and bedroom are completely separated and comfortable. Facilities of kitchen in the room were good enough to cook. Town centre is walking distance and it's convenient to by some foods. Carpark is in front of the room. Washing machines are in the property, but they didn't look clean. So we visited laundromat in the town.

When we pulled into the place it looked like it would not be a nice place but thankfully we checked out our room rather than judging by the lack of curb appeal.

The room was nice, very clean and a great location to walk into the center for dinner.

No one at front desk and reception works remotely. Room to be left unlocked at check out which made us slightly uncomfortable.
