Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We found stray hairs in our clean face towels, thankfully we noticed before using. And they were tidied with cleaning services.
Location was good, bus stop out front so you could get around and into the city quite easy. Taxis were also easy to book. The property itself has good bones but needs a little revamp, everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, plenty of storage in the bedroom and living spaces, if you’re staying a week or so you’ll be comfy! We stayed a week and found ourselves at home, beds were very soft and comfortable. The TVs don’t get many tv stations, we had a few rainy days with a baby so background noise is a must. Staff were very accomodating and cleaning staff were also and they tidied our room daily with fresh towels etc, laundry services available which was handy with a baby.

While the mattress is a bit firmer than I personally prefer, it’s only a minor detail in an otherwise excellent stay.
I’ve stayed here multiple times and continue to return because of the consistent quality and value. The room is spacious and the large bed is a definite plus, although I personally find the mattress a bit too firm and straight for my taste. That said, the comfort and convenience more than make up for it. The hosts are always incredibly accommodating, and the cleaners are just as friendly and helpful—something I really appreciate. The location is ideal for me: close to the city hospital, with a peaceful park right across the road that offers a lovely spot to relax. There’s also a garage nearby and fast food options within walking distance, which adds to the overall convenience. For the price and location, I couldn’t ask for better. Highly recommended for anyone needing easy access to the hospital or just looking for a comfortable, well-located stay.

We couldn't find a remote for the heat pump.

Having to leave.
Friendly staff, comfy bed, clean, nice towels, cooked breakfast delivered to the room still hot. Quiet even though it's on the main road. Black out curtains, extra pillows and blankets, nice body wash supplied.

Only one side of the bed had a table.
Staff very welcoming, helpful, happy to see you, checked in around 7pm on a weekday. Breakfast was very good simple food done well, delivered to your door and real butter not packets. Plunger coffee in the room was better than expected. Two very happy chef's! Clean. Nice towels. Nice bedding. Shower was a good size, nice body wash provided. Quieter than expected being the top end room near the main road but the beautiful fountain as our view was a very romantic back drop. Good blackout curtains, blinds, heat pump, heater in the bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, table to eat at, it was perfect.

Location for us was great, the units are large and very clean and quiet considering they are on a busy street. Parking was easy and the complimentary bottled water was very much appreciated. We will be back.

That the rooms have no balcony’s.
The staff were so friendly, they went above and beyond for my partner and I. The motel in real life was better then the pictures which usually isn’t the case. Good location for events at Eden Park.
