Beds were very comfortable Room was spacious Buffet breakfast was really good and lots of options Staff were nice and brought me medication from their first aid box when I arrived with a migraine around 11pm with no pain meds. I was super thankful for their help that night

This review is a little misleading, because it’s about The Hotel Montreal. The Commodore had overbooked their rooms and asked us if we would mind going to the Montreal instead. We lucked in! The Montreal gets all the stars, excellent hotel, friendly staff, excellent food, great rooms. Thank you Commodore

We couldn't fault it on our stay

What's not to like. The staff are so accommodating. We stayed before and after our flights and we were so impressed with the efficiency of the transport and even took our bags to the room whilst we were booking in. We had a late flight in to Christchurch so order breakfast room service. We were blown away by the food.

From arriving at the airport, the staff and service were top-notch. The room is big and the view of the garden is very relaxing.

I don't want to criticize anything as I had a great stay here overall, but the coffee that comes with breakfast was a bit average imo. The barista coffee that can be bought at the bar is much better.

The sauna, gym and pool were great. Bed very comfy and breakfast yummy with lots of options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great having a nice restaurant and bar on site. The location is great- close to the airport but quiet at the same time. The business rooms are worth the upgrade and Internet was perfect speed for online meetings. Will definitely be staying here again 😁

The staff were so friendly, the rooms were clean and very comfortable, the beds felt like bliss after the long flight. I look forward to staying here again and will recommend it to anyone travelling.

This lovely hotel is owned by a family and they really go out of their way to make your stay special. The staff is young, energetic and responsive. The food in the dining room was excellent. Best continental breakfast I have ever had. Delicious pastries and breakfast muesli.

Warm and friendly welcome on a cold night. The mini tour of facilities on offer meant we used the bar that night and the pool area the next morning. Something we wouldn't normally do.

Room was lovely with garden view. Very spacious and bed really comfortable. Enjoyed dinner and drink in restaurant. Marvelous to get free ride to airport next morning without any hassle.
