Very small issue with a blown light bulb. Otherwise perfect.

Great chalet with plenty of beds and space. Heat pump kept us warm and toasty when we came off the slopes.

I came to have a look at the breakfast options at the end of the cut out time and when the guy saw me, he didn’t seem so happy, didn’t even respond to my greetings - perhaps he just wanted to finish up quickly or had a bad sleep hehe! But Bill was great overall in his customer service, so it is all good!

Good location, very central close to the restaurants. Continental breakfast was included in the price and warming up by the fire after a day skiing was definitely a bonus! There is also a pool table and a bar, great for hanging out with friends. The bed was nice and comfy and the room was good enough for 4 of us (including 2 teenagers). Bill, the manager, was super friendly and made us feel super welcome, shout out to his hospitality!

It's really nit-picking as you don't spend much time in there but a heater in the bathroom would have made it perfection, little chilly in there.

Bill was really friendly and helpful; the room was warm and comfortable with heaps of space. The breakfast was good and just what we needed in preparation for heading up snowboarding.

The window/door side of our room was a bit drafty. Not a major issue as the room had a heater and the bedding was cozy enough. There were definitely some dusty spots in our room but pretty much what you'd expect for the age of the building.

The location was great, staff were super friendly, the facilities provided everything you need for a cheap and cheerful stay, the well-stocked pub and inclusive continental breakfast were icing on the cake. I really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family with young children.

No heater in the bathroom but heated up ok through bedroom door.

Awesome find almost smack bang in the middle of Methven. Beautiful rimu lined common areas and a roaring fire in the lounge. Breakfast provided which really speeds up getting ready in the morning to head up the mountain. Much appreciated. Beds were comfy and rooms quiet. Kids loved the pool table.

Fire still had ashes in it, and no lighters available if you wanted to light it.

Well appointed with electric blankets, heat pump, full kitchen, ours had a fire although I understand all units do not have fires. It is basically a small home. A private wee yard

My only concern is the lack of safety rail on the top bunks.

It was a great size, had everything we needed, close to shops etc. My daughter was very sad to be woken early this morning for hot air ballooning because she said it’s the most comfortable bed she had ever slept in.

The tv.. Was difficult to try and turn it on most times.

The lodge and where it was. Easy to go around and that was definitely close to the hot pools. Staff members were great too.
