The doors need some oil, but not a big deal in the scheme of things.

This place is clearly a labour of love for the owners. It has been very tastefully decorated, is incredibly clean, warm, and there are lots of thoughtful touches for visitors. There's a gorgeous outdoor seating area that we didn't use as I was travelling with older parents who found Dunedin cold and we were out so much. The owners gave us space, but when we did see them, they were very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was a 5-minute drive to the Octagon! Will definitely visit again.

Shower could do with a "how to turn on" simple note by the tap as it took us a while to work out. Bed pillows not soft but overall experience was really good. Nice quiet street too.

The cottage is gorgeous, and everything we needed was there. The beds were comfy and the cottage beautifully warm. The supermarket and cafes were a short walk away, and the location close to the town centre. 10 pin bowling among other things were also just down the road.

Lovely touch to warm up the cottage for our arrival. I have terminal cancer and warmth was one major concern I had. Lovely bathroom and great shower. Very comfortable beds too.

The wee cottage was amazing. So clean and decorated beautifully. Plenty of tea/coffee etc. The shower was so so good. Parking on road was tight but okay. All in all it was a super stay. Would recommend it.

The small house is divided into six spaces. The bathroom is spacious, and both double bedrooms offer decent room. The main issue lies in the living room and kitchen. The living room space is too small, with the dining table snug against the wall where the TV hangs. The desire to dine while watching Netflix becomes a luxury. There shouldn't be a wall between the kitchen and the living room. The homeowner has put a lot of effort into decorating the house with many retro furnishings, which compromises space arrangement and practicality. The kitchen features a portable induction cooker, leading to limited countertop space. While the washing machine is excellent, its placement obstructs kitchen use. Perhaps it's demanding, but the washing machine should ideally be replaced with a dishwasher, and the washing machine itself should be placed in the bathroom for better functionality.

The bathroom facilities are very modern, and the bathtub is very comfortable. The water pressure is strong. Towels and various amenities are well-stocked.The red hues of the house are charming and eye-catching. Although there isn't a dedicated parking area, the street is a bit narrow. However, there are spacious roadside parking spots nearby.The washing machine is indeed a great facility. The homeowner's response is also very prompt.

Being a part of an older home it uses a hot water cylinder so we did run out of hot water a couple of times being 4 people. We were able to work around it with splitting showers across morning and evening and not letting the toddler use the bath. Also, a couch in the lounge/living room would be amazing!! There are currently four chairs which are fine but when watching family movies together in the evenings a couch would provide more comfort.

This cottage really exceeded my expectations and I was so glad we were able to spend 4 nights of our stay there. It has been beautifully renovated, massive shower, separate toilet, comfortable beds, a great kitchenette area and large fridge. It was warm, cosy, comfortable, beautifully decorated. The location was great and it was very private. I would definitely stay again next time we're in Dunedin.
