Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaWe only received the unit number for the address the day we arrived, Unit 99/124 Taylors Road. When we arrived, the front door was wide open. The property was in disarray. Laundry pulled apart and unusable, laundry doors off hinges and leaning against hallway walls, bathroom and bed used with dirty soiled linen and no key box in sight. We left. Very late and poor communication from the provider.
If a key had been available and if the property had been cleaned this would have a lovely unit to stay at. Nice quiet apartment complex. The wifi was good.

United StatesBuckle up!! Long story ahead!! Arrived and did not have the number of unit or how to check in or get keys. Multiple calls to contact number with no answer and no response to messages or texts. Finally called booking.com who also tried to contact owner with same results. Now over 24 hours past check in time still no place to stay or access to the unit I paid for. Another round of multiple calls and same results. Finally got a person at booking.com that was able to locate unit number and code to get key from lock box. So hooray, finally going to be able to sleep after being awake more than 30 hours. Walked in the front door and almost walked back out thinking someone was still staying there. Food on the counters, in the living room, dishes and trash all over the house. There were moldy towels and clumps of hair in all the bathrooms. It took me hours to pick up trash and get things cleaned up enough that I could even think about staying there. If I could’ve found any other rental for four persons plus a cat I would have run!!! I ran the washer and dryer for 24 hours straight!!! All the while alternating calling and texting the owner with intermittent calls to booking.com. The owner FINALLY responded via text to tank me for being understanding, which WHAT?!?!?! I was furious and disgusted and in no way understanding!!!! Finally sent a cleaning crew of one to finish the cleaning that I couldn’t with the limited supplies I’d brought and bought. Now, the stay: first be forewarned the downstairs bathroom smells like raw sewage. We never got the WiFi password and were never told which parking space we should be parking in. Despite the kitchen being listed as fully functional we had one pan, one skillet and 1-4 pieces of each type of dishware, leaving us to constantly wash dishes so all 4 of us could actually eat. There was no bakeware, one glass and no dishwasher detergent to be found.
Location was convenient to shops and walking trails

Needless to say I couldn’t actually stay and never heard back from property despite multiple attempts to in the days leading up. Definitely do not stay here. I’m currently trying to get my money back

New ZealandDon't book this property - I am still waiting to hear from the property on how to access it after I should have stayed the past two nights. I tried multiple phone calls, emails and direct messaged them through booking.com and nothing, no response to anything and no information on how to access the property. After all my failed attempts to contact them, on day I was travelling around lunchtime with still no word, I had no choice but to book another place for two nights. I am currently starting the process to get my money back.

Hong KongWhile our stay was enjoyable overall, we did notice some scratches on the wall likely made by previous guests. It's hard to believe how some people can be so disrespectful to the property. However, it did not affect our stay, and we still found this place comfortable.
Our stay at this place was wonderful. The host was very responsive, which made communication easy. The property was easy to find, and access was straightforward to find, and accessing it was smooth and hassle-free. With three restrooms, it perfectly catered to our group of four, providing great convenience. My kids really enjoyed their time there.

New ZealandI would be cautious about booking this place, I had a booking for it in August, the night before I had a message from them saying that I couldn't check in because of problems in the house so I had to book another place when we tried to get a refund from them it was very hard going we did eventually get the money but it took at least a month probably a bit more get our money back

PolandI do not recommend this place. The property owner can't be trusted. He messaged me at 5.00 am the day before we were going to stay at this property saying "I'm sorry that this house is currently unavailable for some problems, please agree to cancel the reservation". He didn't want to answer the phone when I tried to call him to ask what the issue was as he claimed he cannot speak English. Also, he didn't mention anything a couple of days earlier when I was querying some details. Turned out that he rented the place to someone else instead. I know that because he accidentally sent me the opening code the next day. It was a very stressful situation and we felt deceived. I lodged a complaint with Booking.com and I was advised that in a situation when the owner cannot offer the place, he should have organised it with Booking.com so we could get an alternative place to stay.
Nothing, the property owner asked us to cancel the reservation so we didn't get to stay there.
