The outer pillow case cover and duvet cover were a bit scratchy. I would've preferred it all 100% cotton as softer. There are traffic lights outside the motel, so the traffic noise was quite loud - it was a Saturday night when we stayed. It was also a bit hard to drive in, as you have to get into the correct lane to access the property.

The host provided the best customer service I have ever received when I arrived. He personally walked us to our room and showed us how to use the spa bath. He told us he had made up our bed without the electric blanket, as I had requested. He also showed us the wifi box and password, milk and how to lock the door. A very comprehensive welcome! I loved that there was a spare pillow and blanket and the spa bath was a treat with two seats in it for a couple.

If I had to be negative it would be the stairs, only a couple of small flights to the room but if you a heavy suitcase, you may struggle a little, but honestly not a big deal. I wish I'd had time to sit outside my room on the little patio chairs and breathe in the cool NZ air, its a nice touch.

I purposfully booked a room with a spa, I arrived after midnight as my plane was delayed, so a hot soak was exactly what I needed, and they had put the heater on knowing I would arrive late. The bed was really comfortable so I slept well and Netflix was available. I used the entire contents of the body wash in the spa and got lost in the bubbles the next morning and made a delicious coffee with the coffee brew bag supplied, yum. I was able to leave my suitcase there that morning as I was going straight into lunch the city for a surprise 80th Birthday for my mother. A taxi was only $14 and I recommend visiting riverside for all your breakfast and lunch ideas as It has everything your foodie heart desires and more.

The nicest motel so far we have stayed.in. Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Checked in after hours. Management very friendly and helpful. They were also more than happy to fulfill our request for a late checkout. Will Def be back. Room had a relaxing spa bath too.

Parking. Don’t be last to get a park. There is enough parks per units, but not everyone parks well. So try to get there before dark.

Some of the furniture and fittings were a bit dated but overall it was warm and comfortable.

The unit was spotlessly clean and warm. There was a very efficient heater that kept the room warm on a frosty night. The bed was comfortable but an older style mattress. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was a microwave and cooking utensils. It is a short walk to restaurants in town and very close to the Southern Cross hospital and specialists offices.

Only thing I would fault is the bed... I personally didn't like the gap in the middle of the king mattress.

It was an amazing place! Great spa bath and was perfect for my partner and son. The location was awesome. Clean place and staff take pride in it. Also would like to thank the staff, truly incredible service from them as we called to say we were going to be arriving late at night and they were happy to wait for our arrival. Thank you for the pleasurable stay.

The parking was a little small, but I do have a large vehicle and the spa bath was loud, I was mindful of the other guest to not use the spa in the evening. But the Spa bath was nice and big.
