Loved the personal touches in the beautiful Henry Matthews apartment and the breakfast supplies were a wonderful surprise. Friendly, quick communication and a superb location. A fabulous old building in centre of town with such a lovely ambiance. We really enjoyed our time here - a home away from home. So thoughtful with the touches including fresh bread, fruit, jams, milk and juice. There were books, magazines and lots to read. Our only regret is we only booked 2 nights and it wasn’t long enough to explore the city and surrounds. Nice and warm, comfy beds and couch. We were greeted by Andrew as we were entering and he was very kind, offer information and support and how to reach out if we needed help and we really appreciated that. It was easy to access building with the pin code. We had a small car and it was easy enough parking under the building. Access via the lift up to the first floor. It a dart board and a table tennis table under building. BRU next door make a great coffee, Vault 21 served great food. The Tuhura Otago museum was very very good and we could have stayed a lot longer. We explored the city and also discovered Port Chalmers - a great little village, watched the ships, my friend did a great beach ride with Hare Hill Horse Treks and got to see sea lions and we had a great feed at the historic pub afterwards. Thank you Dunedin and also Dan and Andrew for all the information and we would recommend your apartment to others.

The apartment is beautifully renovated and the beds were extremely comfortable. It is a very peaceful environment. The location is excellent and had secure onsite parking. Close to cafes, the supermarket and an easy walk to shops. Breakfast was left for us which was above and beyond what we were expecting. We met Dan the host who was very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay again.

Everything! Location was excellent. Well provisioned with breakfast for our stay. Quality appliances and dishes etc. We would have loved to have been able to stay longer. Communication was precise and clear. The manager was very helpful and friendly. I would say it was the best property we have stayed at so far on this trip.

Gorgeous two level apartment. Beautifully presented and very well equipped and comfortable. Everything you need for a great stay in central Dunedin. Loved the small touches - like the vogels bread and Vegemite (and the Negroni ingredients and instructions!).

The bedrooms were a little small. There was no room for suitcases which we were tripping over. Everything else was perfect.

All the little details especially breakfast items provided, bowl of fruit etc. Very thoughtful touches.

Attention to detail was exceptional. The extras included were so appreciated, it made the stay even more special. The owners always returned my inquiries in a timely way. They provided clear information which made our stay so easy. Great location, secure, spotlessly clean, comfortable with unique touches that make it a real boutique apartment. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our visit to ID fashion week.

Beautifully appointed apartment in a central location. Modern kitchen including dishwasher. Host generously provided milk, eggs, muffins, a selection of delicious jams/spreads and plunger coffee so we didn't have to race out early in the morning to the shops to buy these essentials. Another nice touch was the bowl of fruit on the dining table.

There was nothing to dislike at all.

The apartment was very well appointed & very cute! There was milk, fresh juice, eggs, bread, butter, cereal and preserves waiting for us when we arrived. Together with a beautiful tray with the ingredients for a negroni! Dan popped up to check everything was ok which was a lovely gesture. The apartment was very central. Parking convenient. Couldn’t fault it at all and if we ever go back to Dunedin, we would definitely try and stay here again. It has everything you need for a long or short stay. Highly recommend.
