Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Lovely owners and greeting upon check in; going above and beyond to talk about walks in the area and recommendations, great value for money, has everything you could need and you could tell thought was put into the experience having DVDs, games and books available in reception was a nice touch!

AustraliaLook, it's an amazing place but if you don't like being disturbed while you sleep you might find this place is not for you. It's just off the highway and train line. The train's do come and go during the night, but the cabins are really well insulated and they weren't an issue for my wife and I. Still an amazing stopover 😁❤️

SingaporeWe went during winter and rushed from Christchurch airport to Arthur's Pass Alpine Motel right after collecting our rental car. After 2 hours of drive, we arrived at this lovely place, and Fi, the host, assisted us with the late check-in. She was kind enough to turn on the heater prior to our arrival, with the outdoor temperature of approximately 2 degrees celcius. Love the mountain views in the morning. The feeling to be surrounded by mountains with snowcaps was surreal. I was also able to spot a kiwi in the motel compound in the morning 💕. The stay was short but a memorable one.
