I booked this property on a whim after searching almost all the properties in the Kaikoura area and not quite finding anything that suited our needs. I was on a last minute planned road trip with my partner and my dad to visit family and explore the beautiful New Zealand. This beautiful property featured a gorgeous cottage with mountain views, super spacious with 2 separate bedrooms, that was only a short 5-10 minute drive from the city centre, with exceptional facilities including 2 outdoor spa baths, outdoor lounging areas to do some star gazing, breakfast supplies included and a handy welcome guide with a back story on the property and the owners as well as local attractions to do and menus from local restaurants. Was really lovely to sit out on the back deck eating breakfast and enjoying the view.

The view is spectacular. The room faced the garden and the mountains, it was incredible. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. We didn't use the hot spas but it seems like a great idea. Jen was very kind and helpful, giving us suggestions of where to go during our trip. The shared kitchen was well equipped.

Beautiful property, loved the gorgeous mountain view from our room. The property is well set up for stargazing and relaxing in the hot tubs. Jen was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area.

Inside the cabin was quite cold, even with all the heaters on, for us Aussies

Beautiful location beneath the snow capped mountains on quiet countryside road. Cottage comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fresh ingredients for breakfast were provided. Host recommended a scenic drive for our onward journey which we did and throughly enjoyed. Would stay here again.

We travelled with carry-on only so didn't have room for towels so was a little disappointed that there were no spa towels or robe in the room.

Didn't have breakfast. There seemed to be a good selection of options in the kitchen. It was a help yourself breakfast. Mountain views were wonderful. Good tea and coffee options.

Everything! Keys and breakfast were left in the unit for us. Everything in this place were great! Did our laundry in the common laundry area and tried out the private hot tub which was perfect for a winter night!

There is not much privacy in the room with the outdoor garden & a bit noisy

Amazing views & great hot tubs. Very comfortable bed. Plenty to see & to do for kids. My daughter rated it 10/10 We will be back!

What an incredible place to stay! Our kids loved the farm animals, the trampoline and basketball hoop and we all loved the hot tub! Delicious fresh produce for breakfast and great views. Wish we had time to stay longer! Thanks for having us Jen :)

There is nothing I could criticise about the property.

The property sits just below the mountains which provide the most beautiful backdrop to the property. The communal areas are excellent and exceptionally spacious. My room was so cosy and well decorated that I felt like I was staying at home. The couple who run the property are so friendly and helpful and their dogs are just adorable. The property has so many options for outdoor seating, it also has two hot tubs that you can make use of to relax and look at the stars. Finally there are on site laundry facilities which are included in the cost of your room which I thought was a real bonus! If you are looking for an extremely comfortable, relaxing, modern and clean stay I would highly recommend here.
