Nothing we didn't like, for the price it was excellent. You would need to pay a lot more to get a lake view closer to town.

Modern, clean room with good heating. Bathroom has heated floor and great shower. Owner very friendly and welcoming. Quiet Location.

Shower made the whole bathroom wet and the fan didn't seem to do anything. Heater was old and loud and bed wasn't super comfortable.

Room was fine, fairly basic but clean and had all you really need.

The room was a little tired looking, but it was clean which outweigh that. They did have smoking allowed outside rooms which you could smell at times, although wasnt bad.

central. easy walk to town centre. one street back fr lake front. seems to b animal friendly as the room next door had a dog with them. Has heat pump which warms the room fast. Beds were comfy with main one having electric blanket. Good shower pressure.

We only stay 1 night before heading to Milford Sound therefore we don’t need facilities. However, it is perfect place to stop, very near to town center, we can park right in front of the room which is important for us to get things from our car. The receptionist is very helpful and friendly. The room is clean and equipped with all the necessary with very reasonable price. Highly recommended for short stay.

The parking situation with the room we were in meant the other visitors next door parked in their ‘allocated park’ but it didn’t leave us enough room upon returning from dinner to be able to park beside our room.. also we had family staying in one of the 3 person rooms and when visiting their room their facilities were a lot more updated and they also had a heat pump whereas in comparison to us we had a small wall heater which struggled to keep the room warm. Overall not the end of the world.

Loved how friendly the staff were, the location was ideal, the tub was great, only suitable for two, but was easy to use. The amount of towels etc was perfect, and the robes were a very nice touch. Also having a different colour face cloth for makeup was great!

Good location, easy access to locality = lake tour, best coffee (Sandfly cafe), supermarket (Fresh Choice) and local foodie place. Friendly host :-) Best of all HEATED bathroom tiles !!!

The way the stovetop was placed....at a strange place with the fridge/panty blocking front access. Had to lean against the fridge to cook. Wonder why it wasn't placed above the oven instead? The super sensitive fire alarm, even with windows open it went off upon frying sausages. Next door's fire alarm also went off at meal time.

Nice and quiet location, only a short drive from the 'city centre'. Friendly and helpful reception. Room was clean and beds comfortable though the place itself is small but adequate.

Heatpump wasn't working quite as good as usual. But it was still warm

Proprietor was very friendly & helpful. Upgraded me to the room of my choice. Nothing was an issue for her. Loved the heated floor in bathroom. Room clean, tidy & comfortable. Perfect for my needs.
